GH Spoilers – Recovery Not Promised

When the head writer was discussing May Sweeps, he said that Chase might not recover. Now, that could mean eventual death. After all, with so many people wanting to take down Peter, he could get killed. He could also be arrested at some point. However, Peter is smart enough not to have the antidote on him. He probably has it locked away in a secret place. So, if he goes down, then Chase could die. Nobody wants that to happen. If Peter continues getting away with his crimes, then what does that mean for Chase’s future if it’s not dead?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Chase could be affected long-term by the poisoning. Usually, when someone is poisoned, they are given the full antidote so their body has the best chance of recovering. As it stands right now, it seems that Chase is only being given just enough to get him over the rough patches. So, the poison is still affecting his body and mind. That could have serious long-term consequences, especially if Peter continues playing his antidote games.

What that means is eventually, Chase will have to be released from the hospital. After all, he can’t stay there forever. But it might mean someone needs to care for him at home, which would most likely end up being Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

GH Spoilers – Other Arcs Affected

Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have a pact that they are putting their relationship on hold until Chase recovers. With the head writer stating that he might never recover, what does that mean for their secret romance? If Willow has to become Chase’s caretaker, then she will never find the “right time” to tell Chase the truth. Every soap has at least one couple where fate seems to always pull them apart. It seems that this is the case for Michael and Willow.

However, don’t expect them to just sit back and accept it. We could see the two do things that are out of character, but what happens when Chase finds out? Secrets never stay hidden forever on soaps. Will he accept that Willow’s heart belongs to Michael? Or could this experience make him bitter and determined to keep Willow at all costs?
