General Hospital Spoilers: Heather Has An Unexpected Ally In Cyrus!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) is one of the most dangerous criminals has ever seen. She killed several people, stole several babies and eventually became the serial killer known as “The Hook” among many other crimes.

But even though Heather has always been unhinged to a degree, she definitely became significantly more dangerous over the past twenty years. Up until now, there hasn’t really been an explanation for the changes in Heather’s personality.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Suffered From Cobalt Poisoning

Recently, Heather collapsed while at General Hospital for tests. Of course, while she was there she tried to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and would have succeeded had Laura Collins (Genie Francis) not intervened. But after Heather collapsed, doctors discovered something shocking.

It seems that Heather had a hip replacement decades ago but the hip itself was faulty and as a result, Heather contracted cobalt poisoning. Laura realized that Heather’s more unhinged behavior might have been caused by the cobalt poisoning.

Laura has made it her mission to see if Heather’s behavior was influenced by her illness. She’s even been looking in to whether some of Heather’s sentence could either be reduced or vacated. Understandably, some of the families of Heather’s victims aren’t happy with Laura’s plan.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) have already made their feelings about Heather quite clear. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also likely oppose Laura since Heather killed her husband Brando Corbin (the late Johnny Wactor).

General Hospital Spoilers – An Ally In Cyrus Renault!

However, there is one person that understand exactly what Heather is going through. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was once a notorious drug dealer and spent several years in prison after almost killing Laura and himself.

 Cyrus has claimed to have changed and is trying to start a new life. It hasn’t been an easy transition for him either. If anyone would sympathize with Heather, it would Cyrus.

Perhaps Cyrus will put his support behind Heather, which she most certainly will need should she be released from Pentonville. They could even potentially start a new romance.
