General Hospital Spoilers: Here’s What’s In Store For The Fourth Of July

General Hospital spoilers tease that this year’s Fourth of July celebration in Port Charles will also bring an undercurrent of drama. And while the holiday will most definitely bring many people together, it might also cause a little friction among some in the process, too.

It all begins with Nina and her guilt over Peter’s current situation. General Hospital head co-writer Shelly Altman tells ABC Soaps in Depth, “It’s a rough Fourth for him. Nina is extremely town. She has fallen down this rabbit hole; it wasn’t something that she chose to do. All along, she has been the one of the two captors with a conscience. We are left to wonder whether this appeal has gotten to her or not.”

Meanwhile, Jason will run into Sam and Danny as they celebrate the holiday on the footbridge. For Sam, this has been an opportunity to step back from Jason and Drew and all of the drama from the last several months. But here, Sam and Jason get the enjoy the fireworks together, with Danny acting as a bridge between his parents.

Elsewhere, Josslyn is struggling to come clean with Oscar about stealing the cologne that she gifted him. Unfortunately, she wants her mother there to discipline her, but she doesn’t have that since Carly is stuck at Ferncliff.

Also, Josslyn and Oscar will end up bumping into Cameron. And according to Shelly, fans can expect to see more story arcs between these young actors.

She explains, “The relationships will become more complex and there will be more for out teenagers to do, now that there are more of them!”
