General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY two alpha males with nothing to lose could be about to turn Port Charles, NY into their hunting grounds as the fight for Sonny Corinthos territory and empire emerges. No, we’re not talking about the obvious combatants, Stone Cold Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
There is a third, more potent threat and that’s because he’s the most inside of insider. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is back in town and not only has the town changed so has he. Dante is his father’s son and he could be about to make that perfectly clear to the surprise of many.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the ultimate Port Chuck OG. But he’s missing and his potent territory must be protected. Both Jason (Steve Burton) and Dante are concerned about this but mobstering generally doesn’t lead to co-CEO’s—there can only be one man at the top of the food chain.
Sonny doesn’t look to be coming home anytime soon—if at all. And if and when he does, what shape will he be in? He took a tumble into a waterway at night and he could be anywhere right now.

Jason has already proven he’s ready to kill to take over for Sonny. He took out Cyrus’ hit man and would have taken out Cyrus (Jeff Kober) if Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) hadn’t gotten in the way.
Jason pretty much has one mission in life and that’s to serve and protect Sonny. There’s no doubt he will continue to do just that in his absence. Especially since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has ended their relationship and he has no reason to be cautious about his lifestyle.

Except he could have unexpected competition. Dante is making noises about Sonny’s operation and he definitely isn’t the cuddly Dante of old. His boo Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is in a coma because of Cyrus and his brain is on a continuous wash, rinse, repeat cycle.
Don’t be surprised to see Dante challenge Jason for control of Sonny’s empire. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Everyone in town has made it a point to question Dante’s new persona so the writing is on the wall that there’s a nu-Dante in town.

Jason is no longer my hero, he is just as evil as cyrus. There must be some new adjustment to this story / His love for his best friend's wife / his lack of interest is his children, etc
Dante needs to stay away from the business, his only interest in it was taking Sonny down. Jason has always been the one to take over in Sonny's absence.
Now this is writing Sonny’s son who spent years trying to bring Sonny to justice as a cop. Wants take his place as his successor, it’s almost like Anakin turning into Vader. Only Dante wants to run Sonny’s empire for the wrong reasons, his reasons are to seek out revenge against Cyrus for what happened to Lulu. His mind is cloudier than Anakin’s was but he didn’t have Palpatine in his ear. He had his mother, Lulu,Sonny, even his kids in his ear trying to keep him away from Sonny’s business and the mob in general. What’s even more interesting is he doesn’t fully get who he’s messing with Jason won’t hesitate to neutralize him without killing him in a heartbeat but only because he’s Sonny’s son. But he better not push Jason to much there’s never really been any love lost between these two.Dante better be careful and watch his back….
I really hope they don't write Dante this way. He is/was a cop. He has enough going on with getting to know his son again and help with Lulu. Hopefully once he is done with taking Peter down, Dr. O will let him be.
Yep, Jason has been entered into the the GH Twiight Zone. He is being written as not really caring for anyone but Sonny and has no interest in doing anything else. Why all the character personality changes – I just don't get it. Characters being changed by brain mapping, mind control, and every other circumstances one can think of. Writers are really trying to change GH and are deteriorating canvas so much that canvas is hardly recognized. None of the long standing characters have interst in much of anything and viewers are being pushed to view story lines like the Michael/Willow/Chase/Willow, pregnancies, mob wars, tumors reappearing, characters back from the dead, etc. Wish GH would get back to new story telling and not allowing story lines to continue for years.
Jason is the only one who can run Sonnys orginzation. Dante only wants it because he's Sony's son. But he knows nothing about it. Where Jason has been with Sonny for years, and knows more about it than Dante. Besides Laura won't like it because of the kids.
That the writers have nothing better to do.Why would Dante even consider it? JASON should be the one to run the business until Sonny.comes home.
Dante has no business trying to take 9ver Sonny's territory. He was a cop trying to take down his own father before his brain was addled.
Jason is the best man for the job. He has taken over before when Sonny tried to walk away from the business. When Sonny has been seriously injured Jason has been there to over see the running of Sonny's territory. Dante needs to back off and let Jason take care of the business. Sonny will be back, also Jason knows what has been going on with Cyrus. Dante can going take care of his son and deal with Peter.
