General Hospital Spoilers: Hot New GH Promo Teases 2020 Bombshells When Soap Returns

General Hospital spoilers tease that the coming week may be hard to wait through, but we have to lean into hope for the General Hospital episodes to come! This week’s promo is mostly a collage of past scenes, however there some pleasant surprises mixed in as well!

General Hospital Spoilers: Just Sit Back And Enjoy The Ride!

The promo opens with a scene from the past where Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is transporting Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) to where he was taking her, where she was supposed to be in hiding but jumped out of the back of the van! He tells her – and GH tells viewers – just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Next, as many sirens sound and hospital monitors beep, Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and GH tells viewers – that plenty of bad things happen in the halls of General Hospital, but there is always something good waiting around the corner!

General Hospital Spoilers: Flashback Scenes

There is a scene flashing back to Donna Corinthos’ (Ella and Emma Hulen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) telling Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theodore Olson) “No matter what happens, you’ll always have family.” Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) looks on, smiling. Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) waves and smiles, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) waves and smiles, and then there is a flashback scene of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) in a hospital bed with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) in the room, and Franco says “This is just what families do when you’re family!”

Then there is another flashback scene with Cameron, Jake Webber (Hudson West) and Aiden Webber (Jason David) at home on the couch doing a fist bump. There is a flashback scene of Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) Sam McCall, (Kelly Monaco) Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) by their Christmas tree. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) toast each other at Christmas.

There is a flashback scene to the Fourth of July at the Corinthos house, with Dev Cerci, (Ashton Arbab) Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) Michael, Sasha, Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Carly, and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) looking up at the fireworks. More flashback scenes follow, with Violet getting a hug from Elizabeth, Sam hugging an upset Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth).

This is followed by a scene from when Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) first became intimate, and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) telling Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) it’s showtime, at his first wedding attempt in the summer. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) asks Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) if she’s ready, to which she answers “let’s do this.” Franco says “we’re just getting started here”

More Flashback Scenes, But Some Future Scenes In Among Them

Sonny and Carly are excited as he shouts “Hallelujah”, Ava says “Onward and upward”, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) says “You might be about to witness something really special!” Nikolas and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hug, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) comforts Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) at GH, Tracy tells Monica, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) she’s come for a good dose of family mayhem!

Chase hugs Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Carly tells Jason she’s just going to be standing and smiling in a scene from the Metro Court, then flashes of Jordan Ashford, (Briana Nicole Henry) Robert Scorpio, (Tristan Rogers) Sam and Jason smiling, and then Sonny and Mike Corbin (Max Gail) sitting on a couch with Mike laughing.

Then there is an obvious future scene of Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) in the halls of GH, hugging Lucas Jones, (Ryan Carnes) who is obviously out of his coma and back to work, and a shot of Julian Jerome (William DeVry) flashing a smile of satisfaction! Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) hugs TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), while Lulu tells Maxie to celebrate, and someone pops the cork off a bottle of champagne! Franco and Aiden raise their fists in victory, Mike gives a thumbs up, Ava and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) toast, Laura and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) give each other five, Carly gives Wiley five at Kelly’s, Liz, Franco and Aiden sit at a table in Kelly’s and he and Franco give each other five!

At the hospital, Chase and Valerie Spencer (Paulina Bugembe) give each other five, Maxie, Peter, Robert, and Mac and Felicia Scorpio (John J. York, Kristina Wagner) toast, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) raises a toast. There is a flashback scene of Bobbie Spencer, (Jacklyn Zeman) Carly and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) shortly after the wreck, outside Lucas’ room, a scene of Sasha in the hospital with Michael visiting her and Finn looking on, Curtis kisses Jordan’s hand when she was in the hospital awaiting a kidney.

Jason hugs Sam when she was in the hospital, Brad kisses Lucas shortly after the wreck and a tear rolls down an unconscious Lucas’ cheek, Joss hugs Carly, who has just given birth to Donna, then there is another flashback scene when Laura found out Nikolas was alive and she hugs him, Valentin hugs Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) who has just come home after being kidnapped by Cassandra, the Quartermaines look out their front door, and then there is a montage of historical General Hospital opening scenes from 1963 onward and Sonny says “Thank God for GH!” as he and Laura sit in the hospital chapel. It might be a long ride for viewers as they await for new episodes, but eventually they will get here!
