General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Port Charles, New York needs to get ready for an explosive combination of sass and brass if sizzling hot show spoilers turn out to be true. We would not have believed it if we hadn’t seen it with our own eyes but it looks certain that sassy Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) and flashy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) are destined to make cacophonous music!

On Wednesday’s episode, they tangled like saber-toothed tigers and butted heads like raging bison but in the end, there was a touch and a glance and, well, are we looking at history being made?

General Hospital Spoiler Insights

Let’s start from the beginning. Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood) and Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) have broken up. We know this because she spilled the sad news to her bestie and fellow nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). This is sad because they made a great pair: fire and ice, sense and sensibility, and all that.

Cyrus Renault Must Be Redeemed somehow

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is a baaaad man. He has done lots of evil and treacherous things but he is soap opera gold. He is a villain that fans love to hate and totally against the grain appearance-wise–He looks like a cuddly grandpa with his three-piece suit and salt and pepper pony!

If Cyrus is to remain in Port Charles he must be redeemed in some measurable way. Pairing him with Epiphany, who is now man-less hello, would do that.

Cyrus Renault And Epiphany Johnson Are Like Two Peas In A Pod

Cyrus and Epiphany are opposite sides of the coin. They are like night and day in moral makeup but equally matched in ferocious displays of passion. Where Cyrus is a bad guy, Epiphany is a good girl. Where Cyrus digs people’s graves, Epiphany does all she can to save them from an early grave. But each is totally committed to life and getting the most out of it—this they have in common in spades.

Today we saw these two forces of nature bicker, as usual. But when they met up at Karaoke Night, sparks of a different kind were flying. Cyrus clearly enjoyed her singing to the point that he caressed her shoulder when he had to leave early.

Admit it, Epiphany is the only woman in Port Charles who has enough cahoots to take on Cyrus and win!
