General Hospital spoilers reveal the soap still trying to tell us love stories we watched play out before our eyes never really happened?
General Hospital Spoilers – Erasing Love In The Afternoon?
GH already tried to tell us that it has always been Carly (Laura Wright) for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since the 1990s. He had suppressed his love for her for years on end for Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) sake, pretty much making the more than decade-long love affair he had with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) null and void.
Who cares if they were married and had a child together and she was the first person he tried to see when he made it back from Russia after five years with a mask over his face while being called Patient 6? That never happened. In the same way that Nikolas Cassadine (then-Tyler Christopher) having Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shot in the head with half the town knowing apparently never happened. And now, Sam never fell in love with Drew either, at least according to Sam.

When Sam first started bonding with and developing feelings for Drew Cain (then-Billy Miller), he was going by the name Jake Doe and she had no idea Carly would decide he was Jason and that he would even one day have Jason’s memories. She clearly liked the man without a past who she was with and didn’t even think he could be Jason.

Yes, she had to admit her feelings for him when she thought he was Jason, but when the real Jason returned and the man she married learned he was really Drew Cain, Sam was really and truly torn and admitted openly she fell for the man Drew is whether he knew about his past or not. She was even enraged when she learned that Peter (Wes Ramsey) was the one responsible for Drew’s disappearance and nearly attacked him. That was just this year.
But now Sam is trying to have Dante believe she never really loved Drew and was only with him because she thought he was Jason. Why is GH erasing this love story? We saw it happen. Sam fell for the man, not the memories. When Drew does eventually return to Port Charles, not even acknowledging what was once between them will be soap opera malpractice, but will the soap do it? Writers have been trying to break up Jason and Sam for years. They keep adding logs to the fire so fans of JaSam will start disliking the pair because they aren't right for each other. It is a soap but a soap must mirror real life some times and I believe Jason and Sam have walked through fire enough times that the writers will stop writing them apart and start them on the road to rediscovering what the writers have force fed the viewers into believing they have both changed and become ghosts of who they were. Writers use stories over and over, how about a forever story for JaSam and Carson. I know if there is a little bit of love in the writers hearts they can write some good stories for these couples.
Because her true love is Jason and it will always be.These writers once again destroyed their love like they do with so many Couples on this soap that's why many viewers stopped watching this soap because they broke up Jason and Sam the best couple GH had besides Carly and Sonny which these writers are trying to destroy now and if that happens they will lose alot more viewers.Since they broke Jason and Sam Sam's character has gotten worse and fake
