General Hospital spoilers gossip Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) has a long and sordid history with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Becoming fast friends many moons ago, Jason always looked out for Robin and the man she loved at the time, Michael ‘Stone’ Cates (Michael Sutton).

Over the years, her relationship with Jason evolved into more, and she has remained the more pure and innocent of the relationships he’s had. Just ask Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) – who hates it that she’ll never live up to Robin’s reputation in Jason’s eyes.

Likewise, Robin thinks very highly of Jason, but would she still feel that way if she learned about his close encounter with her mom, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

Anna serves as the police commissioner for the PCPD. She’s obviously got to be concerned about how this gossip could impact her professional reputation among her employees and colleagues. At the same time, she can’t seem to shake the memory of that kiss and how it made her feel.

Was this a long time coming? Did they just get caught up in the heat of the moment thinking they were going to be killed, or would it have eventually happened on its own anyway after months of working together with Jason and coming to see a different side of him?

How can she hold Jason in one regard and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a very different one? Is her personal attraction to him influencing her thought process?

We can rest assured that if nothing further happens between Anna and Jason, it probably won’t be because he said no. Jason rarely turns down the advances of any woman he’s actually into.

As bad as that sounds, it’s the way it’s always been. But he’s also not one to take advantage of a woman in any given situation.

If he thinks Anna was just tormented by the thought of nearly dying and never seeing her loved ones again, that kiss may have been nothing more than a secret comfort never to be shared outside of the two of them. Rumor has it that’s not how this is going to go down though.

General Hospital Spoilers — Is Robin Scorpio Coming Home?

Word on the street is Robin may make her way back to Port Charles soon for a visit. Maybe learning that her mother nearly died will be enough all on its own to come back and touch base. Maybe she’ll want to reconnect with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) while he’s around.
