“Klaus” centers on Jesper, voiced by Jason Schwartzman. He’s considered as the postal academy’s worst student and as a result, he’s been assigned on a Frozen island above the Arctic circle. It’s a place where feuding locals hardly talk to each other let alone send letters.
Jesper is on the brink of giving up when he meets a local teacher Alva, voiced by Rashida Jones. He also discovers Klaus (J.K. Simmons), a mysterious carpenter who lives in a cabin that’s filled with toys. The three forges an unlikely friendship and they unexpectedly bring back laughter to Smeerensburg.
