General Hospital Spoilers: If Nathan Isn’t Nathan, Maybe Britt Isn’t Britt

General Hospital Spoilers: If Nathan Isn't Nathan, Maybe Britt Isn't BrittGeneral Hospital spoilers report Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) might not be Nathan West. In fact, many fans are feeling pretty certain about it, even if they’re also feeling downright disappointed.

We wanted to see Nathan ride back in on his white horse (or crashed pickup) and reclaim Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) heart, but we didn’t necessarily want it to happen after she had already given it away to Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Talk about complex matters of the heart. But now that most of the fan base has accepted that this Nathan may be some kind of imposter, fans are also starting to question just how genuine Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is too.

Nathan is Dropping Disingenuous Hints

Last week, Nathan and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) shared a heart to heart about their families, love, their kids, and the trauma they have both endured having missed out on all of the above.

Nathan was obviously unaware that Lulu had spent four years in a coma, waking up to find her children had turned into teenagers and she can’t turn back the clock.

Seeing eye to eye, Nathan knew she was probably the only person who could understand how he’s feeling right now. But if he’s not who he says he is, then Lulu may be in for a world of hurt.

GH Spoilers Tease Britt Sows Seeds of Doubt

Britt has been keeping her distance from Nathan — except for that dinner last week at the Metro Court where it served her to buddy up with him so she could break bread with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Britt tried to deter Nathan from meeting James West (Gary James Fuller). She wasn’t keen on spending time with him, and she stammered over her words trying to explain why to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

One might write that off as her not wanting to tell him she knows Nathan is an imposter, but what if she is more concerned that Nathan could know that she is?

Is This a Psyop in the Making?

Nothing is as it seems in Port Charles, apparently. The fan base readily accepted Britt’s return.

After all, she seemed a lot like herself, and she hasn’t been entirely lost from the storyline just yet since her early 2023 death.

But Nathan is another story, being gone for seven years already and hardly mentioned since, his revival was a bit harder to sell.

Still, if we’re comparing apples and oranges here, neither story really adds up, and both share striking similarities — namely that they are both children of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Could it be that neither of these two are who they say they are? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

I tend to believe Britt is Britt, partially because of the way she acts. There’s her adoration for Rocco, whom she still refers to as Ben. Her conflicted feelings for Jason. Her devotion to Brad. Her fued with Lulu and Dante. Her hot and cold relationship with her mother. Now Nathan is more difficult. He says all the right things but he’s always giving these looks like he’s hiding something. Whether he’s an imposter or he was working undercover all those years, who can say. One thing I suspect is that either Faison is alive or Victor is. Both would have had the resources and the ability to fake their deaths and discover a medication for Huntington’s Disease.

Not knowing if Britt or Nathan is the character most are hoping have returned to canvas but under questionable circumstances is the reason why I am not too excited about either return. Just hope any characters becoming involved with either will be careful and tread slowly in making reunions as no on knows just who is who or what their agendas are.
