General Hospital Spoilers: In a Shocking Twist, It’ll Be Carly Who Comes To Drew’s Rescue?

General Hospital spoilers claim Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has already been harboring a fugitive for some time now. What’s a little more clutter on her rap sheet, right?

Now, a leak has trickled out that suggests it’s going to be Carly — the last person we’d expect — who will figure out what Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has done to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

The leak also asserts that Carly will rescue Drew from the situation he’s in. That storyline took on a new form this week, and we’re diving into all the juicy details below!

The Stroke Joke

The joke’s on Drew this time. He thought he had a stroke; everyone did. So Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) visit this week must have actually instilled some relief in Drew that there is a way out of this for him.

Of course, it’s hard to see that right now or hypothesize how he’ll ever get there, especially with a dangerous man like Sidwell waiting in the wings.

That guy usually likes to dispose of his liabilities when they no longer serve him. Remember Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard)? Need I say more?

GH Spoilers Gush Drew is Desperate to Delineate

Drew has been taking in every word that Willow has had to say during her rants to him. He knows exactly where she stands now, and he is panicking trying to get someone to recognize something is amiss.

Carly has a keen sense for when something is off, and she’s likely to start suspecting Willow more if Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) starts chatting about his mom, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), and how mommy interacts with Drew.

With Willow headed to Washington, D.C. in the near future, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Carly gets word of Sidwell’s involvement and decides to dig deeper.

Carly Saves the Day?

Carly is ballsy, and she’s going to be ticked if Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) gets dragged any further into this mess with Willow trying to frame him for shooting Drew. But I still can’t imagine how she ends up at Willow’s place talking to the guy.

This sounds like a clandestine operation more than the cold day in hell that Willow invites Grandma over to play with the kids.

To be fair, I think the fan base is warming to the idea of Drew sticking around now. Maybe they just needed a break from the sound of him preaching at Willow and manipulating her every thought.
