General Hospital Spoilers: Ingo Rademacher Teases Future Sonny Corinthos And Jasper Jax Beef

Ingo Rademacher, who recently reprised his role as Jasper “Jax” Jacks last May 7, promised viewers that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Jax “still hate each other.” The two characters have always hated each other for the past two decades.

So, it’s going to be difficult for these two alpha males to maintain their peace treaty for a long time. They will eventually be back to their old selves once Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) recovers from the death of Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) and their truce is over.

For now, Joss’ father and stepfather and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) current and ex-husbands are holding back on their hatred. But when Joss finally decides to move on, things are going to be intense between Sonny and Jax especially when the latter finds out that her daughter Joss and Sonny’s mysterious cousin, Dev, grow closer to one another.

General Hospital Spoilers – Temporary Truce

Viewers may recall that both Jax and Sonny were there for Josslyn as she grieved the death of Oscar. McCoy, Joss’ portrayer, said “Daddy’s home, and he’s a safe place for Josslyn.” But she also admitted that her alter ego “needs Jax, but Sonny is Uncle Sonny. He’s not blood, but he’s the closest thing to it. It’s a completely different dynamic between Sonny and Joss. They both love Carly, and Sonny’s always there for her.” The actress also noted that her character’s growing closeness and attachment to Sonny isn’t something that her on-screen father will take lightly. “He can’t like that she’s gotten closer to Sonny,” she said.

It’s definitely going to be a problem for Jax and Rademacher agreed to what McCoy said. “It must be like nails on a chalkboard for him[Sonny],” the actor added.

“When Jax was away, it was explained that he talked to his daughter on the phone all the time, she came to visit him in Australia… we’ve established all those things,” he continued.

“Now, Jax and Sonny are forced to get along, because his wife and I share a daughter whom he has helped raise,” he explained. “When I heard that Jax was buying Crimson, I was kind of surprised. That’s almost too small-scale for Jax. He’s a corporate raider who takes businesses apart and sells pieces. But he’s been thinking about the future and working at Crimson is really about being closer to his daughter.”
