General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that it’s been a hot minute since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) broke up.

Of course, once the truth came out about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) stalking of the superspy and her accidental shooting at the hands of Anna, things fell apart in this relationship, fast.

Still, is there any hope that “someday” fans could see a Vanna reunion?

General Hospital Spoilers – There’s Still Feelings There

GH spoilers suggest that despite breaking up with Valentin months ago, Anna has yet to get involved with anyone else.

Actress Finola Hughes recently had a chat with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) where she talked about all things Anna; from her new job as Police Commissioner to her change of heart where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is concerned, her dynamic with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), and her break up with Valentin.

Finola tells SOD that after Anna (accidentally) shot Charlotte, and then found out about Valentin’s cover-up for his daughter, there really was no turning back.

It was just too big of an obstacle for the super couple to overcome. She also adds that despite this, there are still “feelings” between them.

GH Spoilers – Time Heals All Wounds

It looks like for now; Vanna is a thing of the past. SOD asked Finola about the likelihood of Anna and John hooking up for a romance, and she responded by saying, she just doesn’t know what they (the writers) have planned.

John and Anna do have chemistry, but it’s hard to ignore that John seems to have sparks with many leading ladies in Port Charles, including Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

At the end of the day, the Vanna door isn’t completely shut; nothing ever is in the land of soap operas.

If some time goes by, and if Charlotte returns to town with a different perspective on Anna and can overcome her disdain for the superspy, then anything is possible, right?
