General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dex Really A RICO Agent Investigating Sonny’s Mob?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could really be a RICO agent investigating Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) mob. RICO stands for Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, in other words, businesses that are fronts for mob activities.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Ingratiated Himself

Dex first showed up at Sonny’s gym, taking over for Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) when he was called on a tour of duty. He ingratiated himself with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as he ran Volonino’s Gym, soon getting acquainted with Sonny as well, who was impressed with his skills. He saw him breaking up a fight in the boxing ring after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) died.

General Hospital spoilers show Michael soon hired Dex to infiltrate Sonny’s organization, grooming him as a new enforcer for Sonny. But no one knows who Dex really is or where he comes from other than he mentioned some military experience, which made Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) more comfortable.

GH Spoilers – Military Background, Used To Taking Orders?

With a military background, used to taking orders, and knowing some medical first aid basics that are rather advanced, Dex could easily have been a medic in the military. From there, he could have gone on to intelligence type positions and wound up as an undercover agent investigating suspected mob-fronted businesses. He’s never mentioned a family or anything about where he came from or much of anything personal about himself, and that’s a good sign he’s some kind of undercover agent.

If he were someone Michael looked for and hired he would at least reveal something about himself to Michael, but he hasn’t, and he has never reported back to anyone else.  He has been extremely tight lipped about his personal life and history, although he has gotten himself entangled with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

General Hospital Spoilers – Brick Couldn’t Find Much On Him

Even Brick (Stephen A. Smith) couldn’t find much on Dex other than what little he’s revealed, and all he has revealed is a military background in passing. That was only to get Brando’s suspicions off of him, since Brando was the only one who had any suspicions to begin with. A RICO agent on a sting, however, usually doesn’t work alone, as any agency usually sends pairs-so far Dex’s co-agent hasn’t been revealed.

As unlikely as it may seem, if Dex is from RICO and has a partner who hasn’t been revealed, it’s more than likely Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). He’s infiltrated Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) high stakes poker game and he and Dex showed up in Port Charles about the same time.
