General Hospital Spoilers: Is Isaiah A Member Of One Life To Live’s Gannon Family?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that we just recently got a hint about Dr. Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) family. Brick (Stephen A. Smith) recently commented to Isaiah while he was with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) that he investigated Isaiah, and that he hopes that he is not involved with what his family does.

We still do not know exactly what Isaiah’s family deals in, it certainly can’t be anything good. One Life to Live fans are very familiar with the Gannon family, as they were featured on the show. Is Isaiah somehow connected to this family from Llanview?

There have been lots of nice nods of both One Life to Live and All My Children on General Hospital lately, so it would be a fun surprise if Isaiah is connected to this One Life to Live family.

Isaiah Gannon Is R.J. Gannon’s Son

R.J. Gannon (Timothy D. Stickney) was featured on One Life to Live for several years. While he did have a daughter, Keri Reynolds (Sherri Saum) who died, he definitely could have a son out there from a one-night stand as well.

R.J. committed a lot of crimes, while in Llanview, so there is no telling what he could be involved with now. R.J. becoming involved in organized crime is very likely, as he might be using the music business as cover.

While there are several possibilities of what R.J. could be caught up in, history tells us that R.J. is up to no good.

Isaiah Gannon and R.J. Gannon Have A Rocky Relationship

R.J. may have found out that he had a son when he left Llanview in 2006, and kept it to himself. Isaiah’s mother was probably just a one-night stand, or maybe he had a short relationship with her.

Finding out that he had a child, R.J. may have wanted to do the right thing and he married Isaiah’s mother, and gave Isaiah his last name.

Things were good for a while, but R.J. would have been keeping secrets about what nefarious dealings that he was really involved with, and Isaiah’s mother probably told him to get lost.

R.J.’s involvement in Isaiah’s life would have been minimal, and Isaiah would hold a lot of resentment towards his father. Isaiah wants nothing to do with R.J., but the fact that he is his father haunts him.

Isaiah Gannon Blames R.J. Gannon For His Mother’s Death

Isaiah’s relationship with R.J. would be further strained because Isaiah’s mother got caught in the crossfire for what R.J. was involved with, and lost her life. Isaiah would be devastated, and blame R.J. for what happened to his mother.

To this day, Isaiah would refuse to speak to R.J., and get involved in his life. R.J. wants his son to follow in his footsteps, but Isaiah chose to do some good in the world, and go to medical school.
