General Hospital Spoilers: Is Kristina Behind Agent Cates’ Shooting? Recent Clues Offer ‘Blackout’ Theory Due To Trauma

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the writing team seemingly swept Agent John Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) shooting under the rug. The entire storyline was shocking from the moment Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) aimed his gun and shot the crooked FBIer, right in the chest.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was initially charged for the shooting but was thankfully exonerated as the gun she threw over the bridge, resurfaced and was not the one used to shoot Cates. With that said, GH loves to leave storylines (and fans) hanging, so could they circle back to this arc sometime in the near future, and offer up a plot twist, too?

GH spoilers remind fans that whether you love her or hate her, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has been through a lot lately.

Her tragic Metro Court accident caused her to lose the baby she was carrying for TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) – a child she considered her own.

Then, she got harassed by Agent Cates, from the moment she was released from the hospital after the accident, which didn’t help her mental state.

Fans may recall that Kristina claimed to have been at the Quartermaine mansion the night Cates was shot, and stated she pulled in and then left, but what if something else happened?

During the Friday, December 6 show, after Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) verdict was read, Kristina went into a disturbing trance. Is this the first time Kristina has gone into a fugue state?

Could she have done it the night John was shot and doesn’t remember it? With the trauma she’s endured – from smashing through the glass window to plummeting into a pool, losing her baby, and getting arrested – could Kristina suffer from blackouts now?

GH Spoilers – But … What About Sonny Corinthos?

GH fans saw Sonny shoot Agent Cates, but the show loves to rewrite history, and they could tweak the story a bit (through flashbacks) to show Kristina shooting John but remembering it as if Sonny did it.

Of course, Sonny would take the blame so that his daughter doesn’t land in any trouble, and as Kristina believes he did, he likely just went with the story.

Could Kristina do something terrible during her next fugue state? Could there be a blackout and she hurts someone else? Only time will tell if this is the direction the show’s going with Kristina.
