General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that during the Tuesday, January 21 episode, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had a talk with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about his accident and gave him a choice between two long-term care burn treatment facilities.

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), along with Carly, decided that Michael should be woken up from his induced coma to have a say in his treatment.

Michael had a choice between a facility close to home or a revolutionary burn treatment center in Germany, and Michael chose Germany.

Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) helped organize a spot for Michael at the German facility and arranged medical transportation for him and Carly to head to the treatment center. As Michael is officially leaving the soap, what does this all mean for Carly and the character’s portrayer, Laura Wright?

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer Is Involved In Many Storylines

Carly will likely help Michael get settled in Germany and maybe offscreen for a couple of days or even a week (or more).

Not only does she have a budding romance with Brennan right now, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), her very young daughter, resides in Port Charles, and will inevitably need her mom back in town.

Plus, Carly often also watches over Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), and most of her family resides in the little town, so she’d likely head back to PC sooner rather than later and maybe balance visits to Germany to check up on Michael and his progress, periodically.
