General Hospital Spoilers: Is Lulu Moving Too fast With Dustin?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) will continue to grow closer in the coming weeks. In a surprising move this week, Lulu gave Dustin a tour of the Haunter Star.

Dustin sprung a kiss on Lulu but immediately apologized for being so impetuous, but Lulu didn’t want the apology. Instead they kissed again, which led them to the State Room where they made love.

While it was nice to see Lulu enjoying herself after her recent divorce, is she really ready to make such a sudden action? She hasn’t been single for very long and she is still trying to accept that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) filed for divorce.

He did it because he has no idea when he will be able to come home. So while it’s understandable that Lulu would want to feel that type of connection with someone, is it too soon to get too deeply involved with Dustin?

With the possible exception of Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCerio) all or Lulu’s friends and family seem to approve of them spending time together and have been encouraging Lulu to move on. She can’t be alone forever and if Dante can’t be there, then Lulu shouldn’t suffer any longer because of it. Maxie has even arranged a spontaneous “date” for the two of them. But none of them really know anything about the man.

Dustin is brand new to the Port Charles. He is a high school teacher and works part time as a ride share driver. But what does Lulu really know about this guy. He seems like a perfectly nice guy, but comes across as almost too perfect.

He might have a dark side that so far hasn’t revealed. It’s possible that he was part of Dawn of Day as we have yet to find out who broke into Aurora Media and stole the hard drive with Drew’s (Billy Miller) memories on it for Shiloh (Coby Ryan MacLaughlin).

Of course, it is possible that Dante sent someone he trusted to look after Lulu while he was gone. Dante may not have intended for them to hook up but just to be there for Lulu. But Dustin might have been so attracted to her that he took things even further than intended. And how would Lulu feel about that?

On one hand, it would show how much Dante still loves Lulu, if he sent someone to watch over her while he can’t. But it could also be considered manipulative, putting a person he chooses into Lulu’s orbit. However he entered Lulu’s life, neither one can deny their attraction to the other.

Is this the beginning of a brand new love story for Lulu, or will it bring her heartache and danger? Lulu definitely deserves some happiness after everything she has been through in the past year.

Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) almost murdered her, and then Dante returned and was gone again in a couple weeks, after realizing he was suffering PTSD and may have also been subjected to deep brainwashing. Lulu is starting to move on from all this drama so it would be nice if it turns out Dustin is just a nice guy.
