General Hospital spoilers report Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is allegedly being recast, but fans are speculating that something may be amiss.
Is it possible that the character of “Lauren” that GH casting calls were searching for the perfect fit for may actually be a replacement for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig)?
It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for GH to mask who they are recasting, and it may be that Emme felt obligated to play along and let this story ride out so that fans could face the ultimate surprise. Of course, that still doesn’t mean we’re getting Lulu or Emme back, but could it mean Hayden is headed home?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lulu Cassadine Is Back In The Storyline
Since we first heard that Lulu was being recast, fans were speculating that she would soon wake up. We were ready for the tears to be flowing from Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) eyes.
We were ready for the heartbreak that would ensue when she told Lulu her father, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), had died.
We were prepared for her to learn about all that has transpired with her brother, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), and that she has a new nephew, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
We were most ready for her children, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) to see their mom again, and for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to find himself falling for his true love all over again. But it appears we may not get any of that.
GH Spoilers – Tease Emme Rylan Played Along?
Hearing that the role of Lulu was being recast via a casting call for a character named “Lauren” that sounded far too familiar to Lulu’s character, Emme Rylan broke her silence and confirmed that GH was recasting the role.
Some fans are wondering whether she was just playing along so as to not give away the truth about what GH is up to at this stage in the game. Could it be that the recast is actually for Hayden, and that we are going to get Lulu back after all?
Some fans are having a harder time thinking Emme would fudge the truth, but others are so hopeful to see her on-screen again that they’re hoping she did.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Timing Is Perfect For Hayden Barnes
While we’d love to see Emme back in action and Lulu actually wake up, the time is also just right for Hayden to reappear on the scene.
While Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is no longer around to deal with his conflicting feelings for her, his absence means Hayden has full claim to their daughter, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).

Please bring Emme Back!!!
The Lauren/Hayden situation would answer a lot of questions and give many answers. Have read RB has accepted a role on another soap, so she could not be returning for Violet, but the role of Hayden could definitely be recast. It actually makes plenty of sense. Violet has been left just as well to say all alone except for the Q family. I do believe all the reports of ER not coming back to reprise the role of Lulu is just a cover for an actual big surprise when she wakes up. As all information regarding Lulu’s awakening has showed pictures of ER, why if the role was to be recast??? Viewers will have to wait and see, but I’d bet my last dollar when Lulu wakes up, it will be ER. Plus, it would be better for ER to reprise the role and give viewers what they have been waiting for all these years – let’s hope. Perhaps TPTB got it it right this time around.
Seems a bit far fetched. I can’t believe Emme would go along with that. If they wanna keep it a secret, all they had to do was hint that Lulu could be waking up, and just have Emme say she hadn’t heard anything from them. And why should it be a big secret anyway? It wasn’t a secret when Jason or Lucky came back, or that Sam is leaving. It just doesn’t seem like Lulu/Emme returning would be such a big deal, or secret. Don’t get me wrong, I love Emme and would love for her to return, and would also love to see Hayden back, if it’s a good recast. That would be better if Finn came back too, though. I don’t know…I guess we’ll see pretty soon.
