General Hospital Spoilers reveal that according to Deadline, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, who plays Spencer Cassadine has scored a major role in the Netflix series “Monster” season two.
The “Monster” series focuses on the lives of killers and Chavez has been chosen to play Lyle Menendez and Cooper Koch portrays Erik Menendez in Season 2.
The Monster Series Is A Huge Hit
General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Netflix’s “Monster” season 1 was a huge hit when it focused on The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, starring Evan Peters. Of course, Dahmer was a serial killer who killed and dismembered 17 males during his killing spree.
Monster Season 2 will focus on The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Fans will remember that the boys confessed to killing their parents, Jose Menendez and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez in their Beverly Hills home in 1996. Although there hasn’t been much said about the focus of the boys’ lives, there are documentaries that deal with them.
GH Spoilers: What Does This Mean For Spencer Cassadine?
This role was cast before the writers’ strike so currently, it isn’t likely to mean much since the creator hasn’t been working on projects since the strike began. However, that could be subject to change once filming actually starts. Other actors have been able to work out a schedule where they could do outside projects and their characters not really be impacted.
However, with this being a Netflix production, that may not be the case. However, there is also the potential of this project opening up even bigger ones for Chavez which could lead to him not renewing his GH contract in the future. If that is the case, something will have to happen with Spencer. Will the network choose to recast the role once again or will Spencer simply disappear?
General Hospital Spoilers: Could A Recast Call For A Repairing?
Spencer and Trina or “Sprina” has already been through one recast when Sydney Mikayla vacated the role to concentrate on college. Of course, the couple was then separated with the arrival of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). After all of this time, fans thought they would get an actual romance between these two characters, however, that may not happen.
If a recast is the choice the network goes with, there is no guarantee that the actors will have chemistry. Therefore “Sprina” could end up breaking up once again. Will Spencer need to be recast now that Chavez has this new role? Only time will tell if he takes a break or moves on to other projects. However, fans hope to keep Spencer around for a while.

Definitely happy for the actor but sad he will be leaving GH before his older persona can be explored. If actors are to advance their careers and are involved in a soap, to achieve their acting career to the big screen calls for them to leave the soap. Wish NC well in all his future endeavors.
Oh no!!!!
I like the actor and I like the character, however; he has no chemistry whatsoever with Trina and I find them painful to watch. They should have kept them as friends. With that said I wish Mr. Chavez the best in his career.
I wish him luck. Now maybe GH will focus on more interesting storylines. His storyline was a snooze fest

Spencer’s leaving will make Trina’s meddling mother happy! I used to like her not so much now! SNAKE!!!
Fix your own problems Portia! I digress. Anyway I hope there is some sort of crazy soap story that will bring you back Nick!!
