General Hospital spoilers hint that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may be dead, but Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) isn’t. Yes, we’re going there.

While Howarth confirmed his exit from GH more than a month ago and showed no signs of returning as any of his former characters, the word on the street is that this frees him up to play the role of Todd once again. If that’s the case, fans will be begging for less interaction with the likes of Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and the Quartermaine’s, and more with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and, of course, Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva).

When Todd was in Port Charles in the past, the fans were here for it — many of them being crossover fans of One Life to Live. But a legal snafu with ownership of OLTL characters came into play, and GH had to give up the use of the crossover game.

However, that’s all in the past since they have regained such rights. Hence, Blair’s recent return to town as Martin ‘Marty’ Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) third ex-wife. Will Blair’s role in the messy affairs of Deception bring Todd back to town with her?

Blair and Todd’s relationship could become its own storyline if GH plays their cards right. OLTL fans thought the sun rose and set with these two, and seeing them recapture the same fiery relationship today would delight many.

Marty loathes his ex-wife. There is no doubt about that. He doesn’t want Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to find out about his connection to Blair — who was helping Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) behind the scenes with the lawsuit she had filed against Deception.

Would Todd muddy those waters? If we know Todd, he wouldn’t dig Blair toying with her ex’s emotions that way.

To Todd — who is notoriously jealous of every other man in Blair’s orbit — it would be a sign that she’s not over Marty. Is she? Just how twisted can this love affair get?
