Sasha Gilmore is trying to grieve the loss of her newborn and at the same time struggling to control addiction. Her husband Brandon Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is her rock but she has shut him out and this week a vindictive reporter and “friend” tried to get her to incriminate herself in a hit and run.

Her life is not pretty at the moment, and explosive show spoilers reveal that she will soon be dropped from her high-profile job as the Face of Deception.

After she realized she was set up to incriminate herself, she trashed the reporter’s car. He’s lucky she didn’t trash him. This poor girl is emotionally and mentally exhausted and she snapped—it’s as simple as that. She was beyond her breaking point, and in reality she has been broken for some time now.

Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had no choice but to arrest Sasha. Her alternatives don’t look good. She can go to jail or she can be committed to a guardianship under her husband’s care.

Now that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has to get rid of her due to the tremendous amount of bad PR, Sasha could lose everything. But is that what she needs to hit rock bottom and start her way back up?

It looks like TPTB may have written Sasha Gilmore into a corner. But on the bright side, Mattsson has finished a recent maternity leave, and it makes sense that the show would want to ride this sensational story to the finish line. Which means that Sasha stays in Port Charles and continues to live her life, either to the fullest or to the least. The choice is hers.
