General Hospital Spoilers: Is Taggert The Reason That Epiphany And Milo Broke Up?

ABC General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate one of the least seen, but seemingly one of the most stable relationships in Port Charles has come to an end. After several years of happiness, Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood) and Epiphany Jones (Sonya Eddy) have called it quits.

Milo hasn’t been seen onscreen in over a year, with his last appearance was when he posed undercover at the Dawn of Day cult to provide Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) backup as she worked to free her sister Kristina Corinthos-David (Lexi Ainsworth) from the cult’s clutches. But ever since then, we’ve only heard Epiphany mention her boyfriend a few times. But what could have caused them to break things off?

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Epiphany Jones Help Marcus Taggert Fake His Death?

When Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) was admitted to GH for a gunshot wound he received rescuing his daughter Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) from Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) henchmen. Cyrus had kidnapped the teens to draw Taggert out so his men could kill him. With the assistance of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), the teens were rescued and it looked as if Taggert’s injuries weren’t life-threatening. So it was quite a shock when only minutes later, Taggert “died”. But things weren’t quite what they seemed.

So imagine Jason Morgan’s surprise when he discovered once again injured on the dock. Once they got to a safe location, Taggert revealed that with the assistance of Epiphany and Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) Taggert faked his death so that Cyrus would have no reason to come after Trina or even his ex-wife Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) any longer. Jason asked Epiphany why she agreed to the deception. Epiphany’s answer was surprising and a bit mysterious. She told Jason that she had her reasons and that her secrets were his own. Of all the things Epiphany could have said her response was puzzling because Epiphany generally wouldn’t mix up her personal and professional life.

General Hospital Spoilers – Have Epiphany And Marcus Taggert Become More Than Friends?

Spoilers indicate that in the next few days, Epiphany will explain to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) that she and Milo are no longer together. Elizabeth may try push for details because, for all intents and purposes, Milo and Epiphany were one of the happiest couples she knows in Port Charles. Epiphany may shock Elizabeth by admitting that she has cheated on Milo with another man, the bit will stop short of revealing his identity so everyone will keep believing he is dead and gone. So until the Cyrus threat is finally over for good, not only will Taggert have to keep playing dead, but he and Epiphany can’t be together in public.

GH Spoilers – Time Along Together?

Since Epiphany was in on the ‘fake death” scheme, it stands to reason that she and Taggert began more and more time together while he recovered. Did Epiphany find herself falling in love with Taggert, despite her relationship with Milo? Milo probably also got suspicious when Epiphany started spending time away from home and becoming more and more secretive. But it’s also possible that Epiphany and Taggert have been seeing each other for quite a while since she was so willing to lie that Taggert had died. Why would she do something so out of character unless it was love?
