General Hospital spoilers hint Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) struggled to sit tight and let Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) paint their recent interlude as nothing more than a blight on her bedpost and a sign of her poor decision-making skills.

As she made it clear to Scott that she never would have rolled in the hay with him — quite literally — had she not been broken-hearted over Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight), Scott wasn’t willing to take any more insults from his former flame.
While it’s certain that Lucy is going to spend some serious time grieving over the loss of her relationship with Marty, will she be able to forgive herself enough to move in a new — yet familiar — direction with Scott?

Lucy and Scott have been falling into bed with each other practically since the day they met. They know each other inside and out, and that’s probably what makes it so easy for the both of them to let loose and let everything slide.
They both recognize each others’ flaws, and they truly don’t care. Some might say Lucy and Scott are true equals, and that most of their relationships with other people haven’t worked out because they were both so busy trying to be good enough for partners who set a higher moral standard.

In other words, Lucy and Scott are both comfortable with playing dirty — and that’s why sometimes they play together. The fans seem to think their recent dalliance was just the beginning.

Lucy might be hesitating to give herself away to Scott all over again, but everyone watching seems to be elated with the idea of a reboot between this couple. No one is getting any younger, as much as we loathe to admit it.
We want to see Lucy and Scott married off — or at the very least, happy and settled without any sign of jeopardy down the road. Every time one of them falls in love, they seem to be teetering on the verge of heartbreak the whole time.
But that dynamic usually isn’t there between the two of them — as soon as Scott can get Lucy to loosen up, that is.

Rumors are swirling that Scott and Lucy will come full circle, and their love for their daughter might even be what ultimately pulls them together again. Please GH, no more dead children for Scott. How much can one man take?
Seriously though, if Lucy and Scott can make it work after all of this time — and all of the ups and downs — then anyone can. Will this time be different?
Will they ride off into the sunset arm in arm and never wondering what if about the likes of Laura Collins (Genie Francis) or Kevin Collins (Jon Linstrom) again? Only time will tell.
