General Hospital spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in this fictional town of Los Angeles, it’s that you can always expect the unexpected, right?

Is This Actress Going To Play The New Sam McCall?

Well, this time around we’re talking about the possibility that this actress might come back as the new Sam McCall. Sure, the character might be presumed to be dead right now, but that doesn’t mean she’s gone forever, right?

While a lot of people might believe that we are talking about actress Lindsay Hartley, who took over whenever someone needed to fill in for Sam on the soap back in 2020 and 2021, that’s not quite it.

Instead, there’s heavy speculation suggesting that actress Kelly Monaco might be looking to come back and reprise her role. However, Kelly did get fired from General Hospital back in 2024 and since then, fans haven’t gotten an explanation as to why.

Even though there was a lot of speculation that suggested Kelly would eventually make the jump to another soap like Beyond The Gates on CBS, that never happened.

Now, that doesn’t mean she wants to come back to General Hospital right away. But at the same time, some fans can’t help but wonder if she’s trying to crack the door open just to see if anyone would let her in the room.

One of the reasons why there’s so much talk about Sam McCall lately is because it’s no secret that her soap family misses her.

What’s Next For Kelly Monaco?

That, and a lot of fans have also pointed out that her former partner, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could certainly use Sam back in his life, as she was the only woman around that he had great chemistry with. Not only that, but Sam might have been his one and only true love.

So far the producers for General Hospital haven’t made any comments about the matter. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
