General Hospital Spoilers: Is Tracy Playing Valentin And Sonny By Pretending To Be Pikeman?

General Hospital Spoilers indicate Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) could be the mastermind behind the Pikeman Group! Tracy has been dedicated to smoothing things over with ELQ ever since she got back to Port Charles. While pretending to want nothing to do with the family business, she actually has her fingers in the honey pot. What does she want? It’s possible that Tracy wants to see ELQ turned back over to Quartermaine-only hands as it once was, courtesy of her father, Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle). Maybe she isn’t happy with the way her son, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), has managed the business. Regardless, Tracy has her work cut out for her if she’s pretending to be Pikeman just to throw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under the bus.

Remember, Valentin is the one who brought this deal to Sonny in the first place. Thus some fans are thinking he might be working with Tracy to take the mobster down. But it’s also possible that Tracy has fooled Valentin the entire time too. Could she have pulled just the right strings and left a trail of breadcrumbs for Valentin to follow? He might’ve thought this was his original idea when Tracy planted it in his path. If there is one thing this woman knows how to do, it’s manipulation.

GH Spoilers – Report Sonny Corinthos Lapped It Up

Either way, Sonny sure did lap up the offer when Valentin brought it to the table. Expanding his territory is something the don is always down for. Right now, he is on top of the world and thinks that he has managed to form his first off-the-books contract with a federal defense contractor. Moving weapons through his territory wasn’t something Sonny thought to do before, but it’s certainly proving to be a profitable industry for him now. Is it possible that he’s so off his game — wrapped up in drama with his fiancé, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and the crumbling of his family —that he totally missed the mark? Was he blinded by greed and the desire to expand his empire so badly that he didn’t see he was being played? Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) certainly is evidence of that.

Has Sonny really fallen this far over the years? Maybe he never actually bounced back from his head injury and subsequent stay in Nixon Falls while left with temporary amnesia for almost a year. It’s possible that when Sonny came back — in love with another woman and struggling to merge “Mike” with himself — that he failed to realize he was never going to be the same again. Without Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in his arsenal, Sonny is a weakened version of himself.

This never would’ve happened under Jason’s watch; Tracy never would’ve been able to pull off such a master class coup with her cousin’s eyes on her and the business. Now, it’s looking like she’s pulling strings in multiple directions – all with the good intention of getting ELQ back into Quartermaine hands. Perhaps this is what the business looks like without Jason managing Sanni’s every thought and making sure things don’t go off the rails.
