General Hospital Spoilers: Is Valentin’s Offer To Sonny Just Another Ploy To Take Him Down?

General Hospital spoilers reveals recently, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) floated an idea to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he might be a fool to pass up. The only real problem is Sonny doesn’t trust Valentin or his intentions. Valentin said he knows the Pikeman Security Group needs territory in Port Charles through which they can trade their drug supply.

They’re willing to pay Sonny $10M per shipment to use his, which is a substantial offer that sounds too good to be true to him. At the same time, Sonny runs a lot of risks in turning it down, because he knows one of the other five families will offer their territory if he doesn’t take them up on their offer.

Still, it’s not sitting well with him; something just feels off. Could it be that Valentin is trying to entrap Sonny in an effort to take him down once and for all — just like everyone else these days?

General Hospital Spoilers — Could Michael Corinthos Be Behind This?

While Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Valentin are not exactly fans of one another, they are both business men who know how to table their personal feelings when it comes to making solid business choices.

When Valentin approached Michael and suggested he come back to work at ELQ full-time, he also mentioned he might have a favor in mind for Michael that he would recoup at a later date. Is this the favor he was talking about?

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller Might Have Set This Trap

It’s also possible that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is involved in this trap being laid for Sonny. However, that doesn’t mean Michael is definitely involved. Dex could have paired up with Valentin on his own to do Michael’s bidding, but he might also have his own agenda that has yet to be revealed. Valentin could be working with Dex to bring Sonny down for entirely different reasons than those that matter to Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers — Valentin Cassadine Better Watch His Back

One thing is for sure, people who cross Sonny often end up paying a steep price. Dex might be all in for whatever comes at him in the pursuit of ruining the mobster, and Michael could be blinded by his own unresolved emotions toward his father.

Valentin doesn’t have much of a valid excuse for going after Sonny though, especially after the crime lord went out of his way to secure safety for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
