General Hospital Spoilers: Is Willow Past The Point Of No Return, Or Can She Be Redeemed?General Hospital spoilers tease Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) just may be too far gone to ever repair. Of course, we said the same thing about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) recently.

While many fans are still hating him and haven’t forgotten the annoying and horrible things he did, others seem to have simmered down since they’ve received a reprieve from his voice, antics, mannerisms, manipulations, and everything else the base has been complaining about for nearly two years. But Willow? She’s continued to downward spiral into oblivion.

With the new role of Congresswoman taking up real estate in her mind, her plans to stick it to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Drew, and get her kids back, might have to take a back seat.

But will her new position in office afford her the ability to redeem herself, or will she dig the hole deeper until she can never come back from the horrible things she has done?

Is It Ever Too Late?

Could it be too late for Willow to right this ship? Some think she still has a chance at getting her family back. Yes, not just her kids, but Michael too. I say that’s reaching. For starters, he seems genuinely into Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herscell); I think that’s going somewhere serious.

In addition, Michael has lost all respect for Willow. Furthermore, she can’t see past her own blind rage at the world long enough to see that he’s been trying to meet her in the middle while she’s just trying to take him down. So, is it too late for Willow to redeem herself? If she stays on this path, I say yes.

There’s Room for Improvement

Still, while Willow isn’t yet entirely doomed, her hands also aren’t clean. She’s responsible for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) being accused of tampering with evidence. She’s responsible for Drew’s shooting. She’s responsible for trying to frame Michael.

Without coming clean, she might get away with her crimes, but they’ll weigh on her conscience any time she tries to think of herself in a more positive light or turn a corner.

Can she atone for her wrongdoings by burying them? Will her time in Congress serve as a stage where she can make positive moves, or will Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) influence undermine her every attempt to do good?

The Long Way Down

When we first met Willow, she was weak, but in a totally different way. She was vulnerable and fragile after falling prey to a lifetime of victimhood. She was raised by a mother who wasn’t really her mother — and knew it but concealed that reality from her.

She was introduced to a cult from a young age and led to believe she couldn’t trust her own intuition and moral compass. She was raped and left to carry the child of a man she hated, the cult leader. She gave that child up for adoption only to learn he would perish from SIDS.

She found love with Michael, but their many ups and downs, combined with her battle with leukemia, left her barely keeping herself together as Drew aimed to dismantle her life.

Now, she’s feeling like she’s got nothing left to lose, and she’s out for blood. Revenge could be the final nail in her own coffin soon. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
