Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, General Hospital head co-writer Chris Van Etten says that unfortunately for Sam and Jason, things are looking pretty bleak for them right now. Because truth be told, she did commit a cold-blooded murder whether she wants to admit to it or not.

Van Etten puts it this way to the publication, “The truth is, Sam wasn’t framed. She did what she did to Shiloh. If Jason and Sam want to have any kind of relationship for the next two years, they are going to have to be very, very careful about it. They have to weigh if it’s worth risking their long-term future for their short term happiness.”
