General Hospital Spoilers: Jack and Valentin End Up Fighting Over Carly?

General Hospital spoilers report Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were once as thick as thieves.

Now, rumor has it they may both be headed toward a battle to steal the heart of the shared woman of their affections. Don’t get me wrong, nothing about Valentin’s current working relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is screaming romance, but give it time.

With those two being cooped up at Carly’s place together, and aligned against the man who is a threat to both their daughters, it’s only a matter of time before they could fill the void with each other’s companionship. But once Jack finds out what Carly and Valentin have been up to, will either of them stand a chance?

Grace Under Fire

Carly is clearly afraid of the possible repercussions of banding together with Valentin against Jack — and now more than ever. When he was an ocean away in Switzerland, this didn’t seem so real.

Being roommates and having to worry that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) or Jack might pop in anytime and find a Cassadine on her couch is enough to keep this hotelier on her toes.

But she knows she’s in deep now and in some ways, Valentin has her right where he wants her. Will she end up being happy trapped in this situation with him?

GH Spoilers Tease Carly Gets a Say

Carly is grieving. No matter who she picks, it always seems to turn out wrong. Perhaps she is destined to be with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and it’s just not supposed to work out with anyone else, but until a time that they’re both available, guilt-free, she will continue to fall into and out of love with every other guy in town.

A dangerous man like Valentin is right up her alley. Who cares if he’s a fugitive on the run? He’s the guy who is helping her save her daughter, and I suspect there are major brownie points ahead if he can pull it off.

Has Jack Changed His Stripes?

Of course, just because Carly has decided she’s furious with and secretly disgusted by Jack, doesn’t mean Jack is going to let go easily. He’s been falling in love, too, despite his many transgressions.

Moreover, I can see him being the type who won’t want anyone to have Carly if he can’t have her — least of all, Valentin!
