General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are getting closer by the day. Unfortunately, Jasam fans are calling out Burton on the parallels with the JaSam romance. Is Burton disrespecting JaSam fans on purpose?
General Hospital Spoilers – JaSam Fans Are Diehard Supporters
General Hospital’s JaSam fans are one of the show’s biggest fan bases. However, some of the gestures that were considered to be special to Jasam are being repeated with Britt and fans are not happy. One fan tweeted, “The only Jason enjoying nature in the park we want to see is this one and with Sam #Gh #JaSam .“ Another, “GH is working overtime for them, if they gave JaSam even a quarter of this effort their material would’ve been so much better.”
Fans are furious that Jason is doing the hair sweeps with Britt as well as park scenes. Sam and Jason were a special couple to their fans and still are. Some fans are even referring to this pairing as “counterfeit Jasam.”
GH Spoilers – Current Writers Don’t Support Jasam
General Hospital’s current writing team has made it very obvious that they do not support JaSam. Fans of Sam and Jason have had high hopes of a reunion since Steve returned in 2017. Unfortunately, fans have been disappointed time and again. Every time JaSam has reunited, something has pulled them apart.
Now the introduction of Britt into the mix has once again driven that point home. Are these writers trying to turn JaSam fans against General Hospital as a whole? Is there any way that JaSam can come back from this latest writing sabotage?

General Hospital Spoilers – Both Burton And Kelly Monaco Deny Conflict Rumors
General Hospital’s Steve and Kelly have both denied that the two of them don’t want to work together. Unfortunately, actions speak louder than words. Now that Burton is referring to pacing Britt and Jason’s stories, fans consider it a slap in the face.
Some JaSam fans are simply claiming to be done with the show since their couple has still to reunite. Some of these fans are truly disgusted with the writing of both characters. The fact that Burton is supporting this tendency to rewrite JaSam scenes makes fans even more furious. Have General Hospital’s writers finally pushed away one of the biggest fanbases they have? Can GH writers convince this fan base to return after continually disrespecting the history of their couple?
Soap fans are very loyal to their favorites. Have General Hospital’s writers gone too far when it comes to Jasam fans? Are the rewrites of Jasam scenes the straw that broke the camel’s back?

I get the devoted die hard Jasam lovers….Years ago I loved them together too…….but things changed, they lost their chemistry and these characters need something new….And who knows…they may eventually find their way back to each other with some fire and passion
This is funny. Seems Jasam forgets a lot of "their special scenes" were done first with Jason and Elizabeth. They forget Elizabeth was the first biker chick with Jason and they did the first kiss in the rain. Jasam has been copying Liason all long- even now with sam wanting to be away from Jason because of the mob for the safety of the kids– HELLO! Liason did it first! So quit complaining. LOL. And by the way- the Jasam fan base really isn't that big. Hasn't been for ages. LOL.
Hooray! Someone besides me remembers Jason and Elizabeth. And they can deny it all they want but once Billy Miller (Drew) had been on the show for awhile, the chemistry between him and Sam was obvious just as the chemistry between Billy and Kelly was obvious. I have always been a person who believes "where there is smoke there is fire…" .
I also think Steve Burton wanted to try some "new material" – the best actors want to constantly be challenged and Jason and Sam as a couple had gotten "stale.
I may well be in the minority (although I don't think so) but I like Jason and Britt. Wasn't sure I was going to but I do.
In my opinion, I'm all for Jason and Britt in the now. He needs a consistent love in his life. I was formally a diehard fan of Jason and Sam. She ruined everything. Remember when Jason came back, she was fluttering between Drew and Jason. Jason remained patient but he was hurting. When they finally got together, because of the bombing incident, she leaves him for the safety of the children. However, being associated with him through the children, she and her family will always have a target on their backs.
While Jason is on the run , all of a sudden now Sam decides to go with him forsaking the reason she left him in the first place. . Then she's cooing with Dante. She is too inconsistent. I would have never left Jason. I just would have taken extra precautions.
I'm not upset, I'm a nice soap opera fan. I supposed Jason & Sam need to be reunited as a romantic couple and family to Danny & Scout, later this year, or next year, or 2022, or 2023 & into the future…
I agree, that Jason and Britt should stay together. I hope she doesn’t get Huntington’s disease, but she does have the marker for it. As far as a baby goes, Jason already said, it was a mistake for him, to ever have a child with Sam, because having a child with Sam, is what ruined his relationship with her. He knows, having The job that he has, will always put Danny in danger, yes he has Jake with Elizabeth, but she has always protected Jake from what Jason does, and she is not with him, the way, that Sam expected to be with Jason. He has no interest in leaving the business, so having a baby with Britt, would ruin that relationship also. He would have to be willing to put his wife and his children first. That means getting out of the business, and Jason will never do that. So no baby with Britt. Just a great relationship, and maybe even a marriage, if Britt could deal with Jason’s job.
BRITT AND JASON IS HOTTEST COUPLE EVER.SAM NEEDS TO LET JASON BE HAPPY HE EVEN SMILES WITH BRITT. JSAM DON'T WORK TOO BORING.BRITT AN JASON ARE EXCITING ,SEXY,FUN LOVING AND RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER.SAM AND JASON WERE IN NO WAY AS GOT AS BRITT AN JASON PUT SAM WITH HER KIDS AND MAYBE DREW WILL RETURN .
I think the Jason/Britt story is HOT! Please writers- do not put Jason and Sam together, EVER again!! They’ve had their time. I hope the writers will have Britt stay alive and stay with Jason. Maybe Peter or Cryus “fixed” her results just to mess with Britt and Jason. Let’s give these two a chance (maybe even a baby!!)

Jason and Britt doesn’t even have a story.at least not yet.and nobody forgot about that nurse.and Robin was the first to ride the motorcycle.next that’s kissing in the rain was after JaSam. the hair sweep wasn’t relevant.until Sam.and it probably wouldn’t be a problem if they had written Steve’s return differently.you ppl seems to blame Kelly.and not the writers, and lastly,JaSam fans are pissed 1 that’s the worst.reason in the world to break them up over danger.Sam wld Neva leave Jason.when he needed her the most.and the biggest thing you guys is rooting for him to be with the worst character,since Lisa Niles.and have a kid.all the while calling him a dead beat. there’s no way. in a million soap years.Jason would be with.or have anything to do with the woman who’s father,held him captive and away frm his wife and son five years.

They will never reach JaSam popularity! Its pretty clear Frank has had a bug up his ass for JaSam from the start.
looking into the gh future, jason & britt will be a short story/ jasam will return for the children, altho drew is back, writers will restart the old scenes of who does sam really love. Seems like all jason lovers are temporary.. His mind is constantly on the mob, which is becoming a boring story problem.
The writing of Jasam & Carson blows my mind!! I'm a loyal fan of both,and so is my family. How could General Hospital betray the fans like this. Disrespect the history of General Hospital and the fan base? Jason with Britt, is a joke! Not that I don't like Britt cause I do,but come on,really? They are having them restep back in history the same as Jasam, I can't believe this! So Jason is to forget who her father was,and the one who shot him in the back and kicked him into the Harbor,kept him from his family in a Russian Prison, to forget that she stole embryo of Lulu's, how horribly she treated his bff's little girl! And then there's Sonny, with amnesia.. Nina doing the same thing with him,as Liz did with with then Jason/Jake.. Kept the truth who he was from his family & friends.. Can't this writers com up with better storylines then this? Remember who is the Executive producers and the head writers were writing for OLTL, now look where there at! If they don't fix this before the AUgust sweeps are over, than this 58 yr veteran is gone.. No more GH for me
No they didn't grow apart. Frank is a Dream fan, very simple.. He never intended for Jasam to get back together. But then Billy and Frank wasn't seeing eye to eye, so he decided to put Jasam back together temporarily.. Frank likes to mess with the diehard fans!!
