General Hospital Spoilers: Jason & Anna’s Romance – How Will Robin Feel About It?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers seem to suggest that a romance could be brewing between Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

The superspy and “Stone Cold” worked closely with each other to bring Pikeman down and help Jason get from under John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) thumb. The two built a layer of trust between each other and have become friends, but there seems to be something more brewing there.

GH spoilers hint there is chemistry between Jason and Anna, and a lot of fans are rooting for these two to hook up.

Jason has yet to enter any kind of romance since he returned to the land of Port Charles earlier this year. Fans were buzzing with anticipation on whether he would reunite with one of his exes.

However, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) doesn’t seem like an option, especially in light of her impending exit; both he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made it clear they want to stay “just friends”; and while there have been teases of a possible Liason reunion, with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) on his way back, and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) in the PC picture, this seems unlikely.

GH Spoilers – The Robin Scorpio-Drake Factor

Anna and Jason would make an interesting pair, except for the fact that her daughter Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) had a very special relationship with Jason.

Their romance was what soapy super couple dreams were made of, with the recipe of a “good girl” who falls in love with the “boy from the wrong side of the tracks”.

In fact, even after their relationship went sideways, Robin and Jason stayed friends and had a unique connection. Despite the years apart, they have an unbreakable bond.

So, would it be awkward for Jason and Anna to enter a romance together? Will Jason’s relationship with Robin be swept under the rug? Soaps have a way of bringing history up and also burying it.

obin isn’t as prevalent in storylines as she used to be, although her name is mentioned now and again.

Still, as Kimberly McCullough seems far more content in her directing work than her soap opera career, would Robin be an issue or even an “elephant in the room” for an Aason romance, or could she become a non-factor?
