General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) doesn’t die – but is presumed dead and then shows up alive again at a later time on General Hospital? Here’s a possible scenario of how this could have happened!
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Steve Burton Got His First Covid Vaccine But Then Caught Covid
General Hospital viewers may recall that Steve Burton caught a case of Covid 19 around August. He was asymptomatic – but he caught it after receiving his first shot. That would mean that he would not be able to get his second vaccine shot for ninety days after he’s tested clean from covid. In the meantime, Disney/ABC put out a vaccine mandate that all employees, including everyone from janitors to actors, writers and performers must be fully vaccinated by November 1! Steve Burton is one of the most popular stars on General Hospital, and Frank had to do something to keep him.
So, he gets an idea for a storyline that would take Jason Morgan off the canvas, but just until he could get fully vaccinated and return! It would be similar to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) absence during the time he was presumed dead until he was revealed alive – barely – in a snow bank on the Pennsylvania side of the river he fell into, after a bridge broke under him and Julian Jerome (William DeVry). Julian died, and his body came up right away – after an exhaustive search, Jason, the WSB, and the FBI never found Sonny! Yet, he turned up alive in Port Charles just to stop Jason and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) from consummating their marriage!
GH Spoilers And Rumors – Jason Morgan Was Trapped Under Rubble When A Tunnel Collapsed
General Hospital viewers will remember that when Jason was last seen alive, he, Peter August, (Wes Ramsey) Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) were under the Cassadine castle on Cassadine Island, in the tunnels. Peter was dragging Liesl and Britt through the tunnel at gunpoint, and Liesl noted that the tunnels were unstable.
General Hospital viewers will recall that Liesl revealed she had studied geology and Peter was warned that any sudden noise such as a gunshot could cause a collapse! Jason and Drew were also in the tunnels, and noted that the tunnels were unstable as well – in fact, water could be seen dripping from the ceiling so they could have been under the parts of the tunnels that extend to the ocean from underneath the castle!
Jason and Drew soon caught up to Peter, Liesl, Britt and the guard with them whom was quickly dispatched! They began taking Liesl and Britt out, Peter having disappeared somewhere but then he reappeared and started shooting! Jason engaged him while Drew took the women, trying to get them to safety – but then, as Britt, Drew and Liesl watched in horror, the part of the tunnel where Jason was collapsed on him! General Hospital viewers will recall that it was unsure if Peter fled or not, it happened so fast!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Britt Westbourne, Liesl Obrecht, And Anna Devane Are All Mentioned In The Week Of November 29
General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) were set to go to the island to take down Peter and rescue the others – but it looks like they may have been too late for all! Britt, Liesl and Anna are all mentioned by name in General Hospital spoilers for the week of November 29, although Robert isn’t for some reason.
Drew’s return and Jason’s presumed death are implied, with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) receiving news, Sam thinking of next steps to take, the Quartermaine family getting a surprise, and Sonny and Carly getting bad news – Sonny will call on Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) for his help. But if the scenario listed is true and Frank Valentini did get a storyline idea to give Steve Burton time to get his remaining shots, then after a few months of angst and trauma of Jason really being dead this time, like Sonny, he’ll show up alive in a few months!
