General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that fans of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have something to cheer about, as his first appearance is officially scheduled for July 13, 2026.

Various sources have confirmed that Burton returned to the studio on June 1, marking his first official day back at work after his break.

This is fantastic news for fans who have been eagerly waiting to hear about Steve Burton returning to his role as Jason. Burton made his comeback to the ABC soap just in time to join the celebration of filming its 16,000th episode, which is definitely thrilling to learn.

The show representative confirmed that Finola Hughes has also returned to filming as Anna Devane, something that Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan) hinted at on social media earlier.

Hughes was present for the celebration of the 16,000th episode along with many other cast members. This special episode is scheduled to air on July 13.

Jason’s Been At A WSB Black Site In Jakarta, According To Brennan

Regarding Jason, he is currently stuck at a WSB black site in Jakarta, according to the information that Brennan managed to find out.

Fans of GH will remember that Jason chose to take the blame for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) after he shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), but now Cullum has figured out that Rocco is actually the one at fault.

Even though Rocco is on the run with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), you can be sure that Cullum will be pursuing them.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has assigned Brick (Stephen A. Smith) the task of locating Britt and Rocco, so it will be interesting to see who reaches them first! In other words, a lot has been going on during Jason’s absence.
