GH spoilers hint that there are very good reasons why Sonny is skeptical of Jason. First and foremost, he hasn’t forgotten about what happened in Puerto Rico, and how the person behind the shooting was an inside job.

Whether information was leaked, or the person behind the attack knew a little too much about Sonny’s security system. Much like fans once believed, Sonny could think Jason was behind all that. Who else could it be?

The other reason Sonny isn’t #TeamJason right now is because so many others close to the mob boss have betrayed him, recently.

From Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell); many in his inner circle aren’t the people he thought they were, and this has Sonny questioning Jason, now more than ever.

GH Spoilers – How Will This All End?

The tension between Sonny and Jason will likely remain for quite some time. Sure, it’s clear that Jason helped Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) after he got shot, but until Dante wakes up and corroborates Jason’s story.

Sonny won’t be convinced that there aren’t holes in Stone Cold’s story. What if Dante doesn’t wake up for a while – what if he does and can’t remember the night of the shooting because of amnesia?

But, could they turn into bitter rivals? Jason will likely (eventually) come clean to Sonny about where he was all this time and why he did what he did.

However, will Corinthos take his story at face value? Will too much animosity build up where the two can’t find common ground again?
