General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Return Crushes Britt As She Wins Back Her Job But Loses Him

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason's Return, Britt's Disappointment-Gets Job Back, But Not Jason?General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Jason and Danny Morgan (Steve Burton, Asher Antonyzyn) will return this week on the ABC soap.

In the weekly promo, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is seen in her white doctor’s coat in the hospital with a not real happy Jason coming through the doors-will she get her job back, but not Jason?

Jason Returned But Didn’t Tell Anyone But Danny And Tracy

Jason returned a week ago but didn’t tell anyone but Danny, who he resolved to focus on and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who he asked to tell Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Danny found him by accident, standing on the dock by the Quartermaine boathouse, Tracy the same. After a lot of explaining to do, Jason thought it was best to take a father-son trip with Danny.

By the time they return on Friday, July 24, there will have been several people not understanding not being in the loop about his return.

Britt will likely be one of them-once she hears he got back over a week ago and didn’t try to contact her.

Jason Looks Like He May Be Dreading The Encounter With Britt

Jason actually looks like he may be dreading the encounter with Britt, while she’s grinning from ear to ear, expecting him to rush and hug and kiss her!

He may be at the hospital for a checkup, since even though he sat next to Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) on the plane, who apparently escorted him home, he didn’t get checked out.

Jason looked rough and beat up and had obviously suffered trauma in the WSB black site, flashing back and having nightmares as he dozed off on the plane.

Now that he and Danny are back, he may be coming into the hospital to get a thorough checkup, although it’s highly doubtful Britt will do it, being an OB/GYN!

Tristan wouldn’t do it either, being a heart surgeon although he may consult, if he truly does know Jason’s history in the WSB black site.

Jason’s Not The Same Man Returning As He Was Leaving

Jason’s not the same man returning as he was leaving, and it looks like he doesn’t want to do anything except fix his relationship with Danny-and possibly others in his close family as well. 

It’s implied that Jason suffered traumatic abuse in the black site, possibly of a sexual nature, and that definitely would affect him horribly.

It would certainly affect anything of a romantic nature with a woman, even if she were his wife-abuse of that kind messes with a man’s self-image.

Given that, and likely keeping it inside one can understand his reticence to  pick up his romantic relationship with Britt. Plus, he’s learned a hard lesson, that when someone’s a father, their children take priority.
