General Hospital Spoilers: Jax And Curtis Make A Pact – Not To Tell Nina Nelle Was Her Daughter?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, New York Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will soon make a pact. Might it be not to tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Just Hired Curtis Ashford To Find Phyllis Caulfield

Nina just hired Curtis to find Phyllis Caulfield (uncast character) the nurse who took care of her when she was in the coma. Curtis should have no problem finding her pretty quickly, especially if he kept his records from when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) hired him to find Nina’s child. He had traced far enough to find out that Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) had placed Nina’s baby with an unethical baby broker, who has since died, as Madeline also has.

The trail ran somewhat cold until Valentin filled in the blanks for Curtis and sent him to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)! Phyllis Caulfield may be just the missing link Curtis would need to find Nina’s real child! However, if he finds that her daughter really was Nelle, Curtis won’t want to tell Nina the truth – considering Nelle is dead (maybe)!

He knows it would hurt her too much, and she would never forgive herself for not trying harder to reform Nelle. Curtis may well instead deliver that information to Jax and let him in the loop! Jax certainly won’t want Nina to know that the child she longed for is dead, and certainly not that it was Nelle. He already thinks her care for Nelle was misplaced!

GH Spoilers – Curtis Ashford And Jasper “Jax” Jacks Make A Pact But Discuss How To Proceed First

Curtis and Jax make a pact never to tell Nina that Nelle was her daughter. But they would discuss how to proceed first. They have to tell her something, hopefully, something that will convince her not to keep searching. They don’t want to give her false hope and have her go down one rabbit trail after another only to have her heartbroken. They have to come up with some kind of plausible story to convince her that Phyllis Caulfield was another dead end.

Curtis doesn’t like to lie but a lie may be the only solution, and Jax agrees. They just have to make sure that Nina never finds out that they’ve lied. One option might be that Curtis found Phyllis Caulfield has passed away. That way there would be no one else who Nina could ask who was actually there at the time when she was in the coma at Crichton-Clark.

The trail would go cold, and that would be better than trying to fabricate a death certificate for the baby. They could possibly fabricate one for Phyllis Caulfield, but if Curtis has found out Nelle was the baby, he would have already spoken to her. Nina would want to check that out! It may not take a fabrication of a death certificate, however. Her Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) even said there was no baby, although she told Valentin, not Nina. Unfortunately, Liesl’s not handy to verify with, at least not yet!
