General Hospital spoilers reveals Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) made the trek across the country from New York to California. She may have a few mismatched ideas in her head of what she might say if she sees her parents, but she’s not going there solely with that intent.

She wants the truth, and she might be hoping she can find it without even getting into a discussion with either of them. That’s not what’s going to transpire though. She won’t make it long lurking around her parents’ home before her father — Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) — walks in and finds what first appears to be a stranger creeping around his house. What happens next will floor everyone.

General Hospital Spoilers — Liz Webber’s Past Is Haunting Her

When Jeff asks what Elizabeth is going in his home, she won’t dance around the truth. She’s come to get answers and she wants them promptly. She will not go back to Port Charles without information that will help her resolve the memories that continue to haunt her.

As she explains the clips that keep replaying in her mind like a scary movie and mentions her boyfriend Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) late wife Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara), Jeff’s face will noticeably respond to her inquiry signaling he knows where this is going. Is he going to come clean?

All Elizabeth needed to do this whole time was follow the five words repeating in her mind. Stay away from my father. Again and again, she heard her own voice issuing the same command, apparently to Reiko.

The real storyline here isn’t going to stay as heavily focused on the past as Elizabeth’s memories have. Rather, it’s going to alter the trajectory of her future — and Finn’s. Jeff never wanted it to come to this, but there won’t be any avoiding it once Elizabeth is standing in his living room.

Perhaps Jeff really thought he was doing the right thing and protected Elizabeth from the truth. She knows a thing or two about telling a lie for the right reasons. If Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were alive to tell a story or two, he wouldn’t, because he’s Jason. But trust us, Elizabeth learned this behavior well from her father.

Liz might not be the only daughter who picked up a thing or two from Jeff though. When she confronts Jeff about her scattered memories and how they relate to Reiko, he’s not going to hold back in telling her the truth. While Elizabeth is expecting him to admit to some version of an affair — she’s presuming that affair was with Reiko.

However, Reiko could be the product of an affair rather than the woman Jeff had an affair with — making her Elizabeth’s half-sister. Taking things a step further, is it possible that Reiko wasn’t a lovechild from an affair but a full sibling to Elizabeth or even her twin? If so, why would her parents split them up and not raise Reiko, too? Jeff is going to share the Earth-shattering truth with Elizabeth, whatever it is, and it won’t be easy for Elizabeth to take back to Finn.
