GH Spoilers – Johnny Wactor Explains Why

The actor took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the storyline. Wactor started his post by thanking everyone who has followed Liam’s journey. He acknowledged that the storyline was “incredibly painful,” which left many viewers asking why.

“Why tell a story of two new parents, with a shaky foundation, but who have hope to maybe be something together, and then take away the greatest gift they’ve ever had before they even get to truly cherish and nurture that gift, their baby boy Liam?” the actor said.

“Why this story during one of, if not the roughest, stretches of time in many [of] our personal lives? Why during the holidays?” the actor continued.

As one of the players who told the story, Wactor shared that the stories told on the soaps often involve worst-case scenarios. They’re painful stories that happen in real life.

The actor shared that there are real families who have suffered these circumstances. Wactor explained that the soap shared this storyline so that millions of viewers could watch them. They hope that it’ll bring a sense of comfort to families who go through these situations in real life. They also want to make other people realize that they should be grateful for the things that they often take for granted, whether it be their life or the life of their loved ones.
