General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan And Curtis’ Shocking Surprise

General Hospital: Jordan And Curtis Ashford (Tanisha Harper, Donnell Turner)General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Tanisha Harper, Donnell Turner) are in for a shocking surprise. With Curtis engaged to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and trying to plan a wedding, they both are left reeling by Stella Henry’s (Verneé Watson) reveal that they’re still legally married.

General Hospital Spoilers – Stella Henry Remembers

Stella was supposed to mail Jordan’s signed divorce papers to become finalized quite some time ago, before Jordan had to go away to a kidney center. Stella didn’t want the divorce to happen and held the papers in her purse, but then she had a stroke in Kelly’s. As a result, the coffee soaked envelope with the papers was thrown away in the process of her rescue, and when she saw Portia’s engagement ring, she remembered.

She was very embarrassed to admit to Jordan that she’d never sent the papers and they’d been destroyed. Jordan’s still trying to wrap her head around that, with Curtis’ impending nuptials.

GH Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Storms In

Curtis found out separately that he and Jordan were still legally married, and storms in on Jordan wanting answers. If he had heard Stella’s confession he would have calmed down a bit, but it looks like he misses her and Jordan’s by herself. He accuses Jordan of not doing her part regarding their divorce, which she hadn’t wanted in the first place; this of course upsets Jordan so she might not correct him. Jordan and Stella haven’t always gotten along, but in this case Jordan has a chance to protect Curtis and Stella’s relationship. Curtis may have understood given Stella’s stroke, but Jordan decides not to tell him about that, likely irritated at his accusations.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson’s Opinion

General Hospital spoilers show Curtis now has to break the bad news to Portia, who thinks maybe Jordan is still in love with him and that’s the reason the divorce papers weren’t sent. It wasn’t long after that she and Jordan were trapped in that gas-filled basement where she was along as a medical consultant to see if she could help. They’d gone investigating the death of Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) and a doctor, who was found dead in the house, may have had some information.

Curtis knows that Portia is a very smart and intuitive woman, and he takes her seriously. He wonders now if Jordan will still give him the divorce he needs so that he and Portia can marry and plan the rest of their lives.
