General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was in prison for something he didn’t do – in other words, he was framed. At the same time, he got transferred to Pentonville about the same time Taggert showed up in Port Charles, and now Jordan and Taggert are saying they have a secret they were talking to their grave that may have gotten Bob Massicotte killed.

Renault’s business is illegal drugs – that is why Sonny wouldn’t take him up on a partnership. Jordan, Marcus, and Bob worked together in the DEA, or Drug Enforcement Administration. Could their secret be that they framed Renault because they were under pressure to get someone convicted – anyone?

General Hospital Spoilers – Bob Massicotte Was In On This Secret And Was Killed For His Knowledge

Taggert and Jordan, after looking into the investigation files on Bob Massicotte agreed that there was foul play involved. Then they mentioned their secret that they and Bob were in on and were to take to their graves, and Taggert mentioned Bob took it to his grave! There must be a connection, and someone else knows about the secret – and Renault also told Sonny that he has personal reasons for being close to Port Charles! Are Taggert and Jordan targets as well as Sonny and his family? Is Renault behind the death of Bob Massicotte? If he is, was Massicotte’s death revenge or a warning? It sure seems like there are too many coincidences in the timing of Massicotte’s death, Taggert’s return from retirement, and the attacks on Sonny and his family!

Renault also runs his goons from behind bars, and he obviously has a widespread network. He had arranged three coordinated attacks against Sonny and his family, including in Brooklyn. Someone, actually many “someones” are eyes and ears for Renault to know exactly where and when to have struck and who would have needed to have been targeted. It would be no surprise if he had gotten a plant into the DEA and found out about the secret that Taggert, Jordan, and Massicotte shared.

That suspicious death sounds as much of a warning or a mob message being conveyed as when Sonny’s coffee truck was hijacked and burned, even the fact that it was left in a no-parking zone; that’s a message that they don’t want Sonny in the territory that they want! That’s just how mobsters operate – they leave destructive messages as warnings, to show their power and how dangerous they are. If Renault has a plant in the DEA, who would operate very similarly to a dirty cop in a police department, if the plant is high enough in the DEA hierarchy then they could have found out exactly who framed him and be out for revenge and Bob’s suspicious death would definitely have been a warning!
