Jordan And Monet’s Long Estrangement
Jordan and Monet hadn’t seen each other in years, no one even knew Jordan had a sister until she suddenly showed up in Port Charles.
Jordan never mentioned her, so it was kind of a shock when she came over to her in the Metro Court out of the blue. It seemed that although Jordan didn’t keep track of her, she kept track of Jordan!

Michael was also in the Metro Court Gardens that day and they briefly talked about Monet, but Jordan just said she was her sister and she showed up in Port Charles out of the blue. So, it makes sense when they talk again that Jordan will confide more about their backstory.
It’s Obvious There Is Bad Blood Between The Two Of Them
It’s obvious there is bad blood between the two of them going back many years-it must have been caused by something egregious for Jordan never to have mentioned her.
Actually, she has never mentioned any of her family of origin-not even her parents, only that she was at one time married to Tommy Ashford (uncast) Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) late brother.
She had her son TJ Ashford (most recently Tajh Bellow) with Shawn Butler, (Sean Blakemore) however-and he’s in his thirties. So this falling out with Monet had to have happened many years ago-likely even before Jordan joined the Drug Enforcement Agency, or DEA.

Could Monet and Jordan have become estranged over a man; it’s certainly possible, although there could be many reasons for their estrangement.
It’s hard to say how close in age they are, but Jordan is fifty, and it’s hard to guess how old Monet is, although she looks somewhat younger-she’s old enough to have gone through law school
