Until one can be found, she will have to undergo dialysis, which will really cramp her style as Police Commissioner; she’s trying to perform her job from her laptop in her hospital room!
There are several qualified people who could take over for her temporarily as the Police Commissioner; Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) have both held the post in the past. But Jordan wants to stay in the middle of the action, so she won’t take a leave even though she needs one!
General Hospital spoilers on Monday, March 18th show Jordan and her husband Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) talking about something important, that apparently needs further discussion. She tells Curtis, if they’re thinking about it, they should talk about it. Maybe the “it” is the subject of Jordan letting someone take over for her temporarily while she recovers, or possibly the subject of dialysis been needed until a kidney is found, should neither he, TJ Ashford, (Tajh Bellow) or Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) prove a match.
Andre Maddox, (Anthony Montgomery) who was in town talking to Anna about the notes from Dr. Arthur Cabot’s (Time Winters) original twins study, mentioned he’d heard about Jordan and had been tested, but unfortunately was not a match so he couldn’t donate for her.
Of course, the one main priority for Jordan to handle right now as far as police business is concerned, is to make sure Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) charges are vacated and thrown out, since his plea was merely part of Jordan’s plan to smoke out Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), the real serial killer.
Other General Hospital spoilers tease that she and DA Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will meet at the end of the week, so that’s probably what that’s about.
