Jordan, with Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) blessing, had taken a job with Sidwell as a means of going undercover to take him down-but, now the question is, will Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) be a liability?

A Deputy Mayor Involved With A Man Facing Criminal Charges?

Although the position of Deputy Mayor-which Laura didn’t refill-is a political one, it is an appointment rather than a position that one runs for to be voted in.

The Deputy Mayor fills in for the Mayor when the Mayor is unable to fulfill duties, or sometimes is given tasks to carry out when the Mayor is too overwhelmed with others.

However, even though Jordan wouldn’t be running for the office, like any other political position, there is a certain decorum and public image to uphold.

And being involved with a man currently facing criminal charges for assault isn’t exactly a good look for someone in a political office.

The position is one where she would be the face of the mayoral office, but even if she can accept her scars, which she wouldn’t be judged for, the public may not accept Curtis!

Curtis Could Be A Huge Liability

Curtis could be a huge liability for Jordan if she wants to return to her Deputy Mayor position, especially if he continues to make a problem of himself in public!

Can you imagine being in a political position with a boyfriend who’s a loose cannon like that, making very public scenes; Curtis is like a mean drunk when he isn’t even drinking!

Jordan has told Curtis that he needs to reign in his temper, and he knows it-but the only problem is, the damage has already been done.

The assault of Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was a very public act-and with Curtis being a well-known individual in Port Charles, his reputation’s taken a self-inflicted beating!

Can Jordan Expect Curtis To Go Along With Keeping Their Relationship Secret?

Jordan has to consider whether to ask Curtis to go along with keeping their relationship secret, aside from family and friends who already know.

She’s not sure if that is even possible, with the assault of Isaiah being in the news, and Curtis being a prominent business owner in Port Charles.

But what she also has to consider is if Curtis would be his bullheaded self and tell her if he’s her man, he’s not going to hide from her constituents.

How much more strain can Curtis and Jordan’s reunited relationship take, considering she’s already not being true to herself to placate him?

Deep down she knows that she bears some responsibility in the wreck that messed up her face and could have killed her-but Curtis can’t handle the truth!
