Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is pretty much the bane of Joss’ existence. No matter how much time passes, she just can’t make peace with the things he’s done to the people she loves — namely, her mother.
At the same time, she knows Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is a grown woman who can make her own decisions — even if she doesn’t approve of them. When she thinks Michael does, she’s going to have some difficulty navigating her relationship with her brother, but there may be someone else she can lean on in her corner.

Joss will be appalled to find that her big brother, whom she looks up to and admires so much, is on the opposite side that she is.
While Michael will hear her out and be understanding of her position about Carly choosing to help Sonny out in this way being risky, he’s not going to renege on his position to help his parents out of this mess.
After all, it was Michael’s idea for Carly to give Sonny this alibi. Will he go so far as to admit that to his angry little sister though?

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller, The Boy In Blue, Comes Through?
Fortunately for Joss, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is now an officer of the law. Armed with the right facts he can take to Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), he can arrest Sonny and help Joss find a way to potentially protect her mom as the details of Sonny’s crime come to light.
Will he though? Joss has worked hard to get where he is, and he took that agreement he made with Sonny seriously.
He doesn’t intend to disturb the guy if he doesn’t have to. So is going out of his way to build a case that Anna isn’t asking him to build — but rather, Joss is — really respecting those boundaries?

General Hospital Spoilers — Family Drama
With Sonny and Carly merging to be a united force, it stands to reason they just might have to get engaged — if not married — all over again to keep the truth under wraps. That would make Joss’ skin crawl, but she’s seen her mom make these choices time and time again.
Michael is the one person she has always felt was on her side, and finding out that he put these wheels in motion just to protect Sonny — at the cost of their mother — could lead her to unleash her fury in both Sonny and Michael’s directions.
