General Hospital Spoilers: Joss’ Pregnancy Bombshell Will Bring The Mob Boss Out In Sonny

General Hospital spoilers suggest Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is in for the surprise of her life when she discovers she’s going to be a mother. Still, the biggest surprise yet might be on the horizon when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) hears about it. While Sonny will naturally assume at first that Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) is the father of Joss’ baby, things will get complicated when it becomes clear it could be someone else.

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Joss have been sleeping together for weeks, and it’s going to be more than likely that Dex is the father of Joss’ baby, versus Cam. Will Sonny retaliate against Dex for lying to him once again and knocking up his stepdaughter?

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Jacks Makes Her Own Decisions

When Sonny loses it after finding out Joss is pregnant and that Dex is probably the baby daddy, Joss is going to take a stand against the mob boss like never before. She’s tired of his lifestyle getting in her way. She wants to live her life without security guards following her around, without risk of her child being unsafe because of who her mom used to love, and without the threat of violence from that same man looming over her head because he doesn’t approve of the man she now loves. Yes, Joss is going to realize she’s in love with Dex during this process, which is convenient when she’s having his baby.

Speaking of making decisions for oneself, Sonny doesn’t think Dex has that kind of autonomy. When you’re in Sonny’s employ, he owns you — or at least he thinks he does. Moreover, it’s wise — at minimum — to let him think that. Going against his orders on a repeated basis has really grated on Sonny, and he knew when he had his associate look into Dex that something wasn’t right. This isn’t his first rodeo; Sonny can tell when he’s being lied to. When Joss asserts that Dex can also make his own decisions, that’s where her argument goes wrong for Sonny. His family was supposed to be off limits.

Not only will Joss make a plea for Sonny to spare Dex’s life, but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will, too. Is the truth about to come out that it was Carly who helped Dex when he was shot and recovering in Joss’ dorm room all those months ago? Will the truth surface that Dex didn’t even intend to keep working for Sonny?

That seems like the kind of outburst an emotional Joss would boast about when trying to take a stab at her stepfather. What about the baby? Joss and Carly will both beg Sonny to have mercy on Dex for the sake of his unborn child, who shouldn’t grow up knowing his or her grandfather killed their father.
