General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) warning to Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) may have been part of a setup. Might it have been part of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) plot to trap Jack?
Carly Said She Was Scared, And Valentin Did Too
Josslyn had been to see Valentin earlier, to tell him about Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) having had Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) book based on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and cigarillos in his pocket.
Valentin became incensed and directly blamed Cullum for driving Anna crazy-in fact, he came very close to losing it!
Josslyn had to tell him to calm down, and later he and Carly discussed Cullum, Anna’s desperate situation, and Jack as well and their plot to bring him down.
Valentin and Carly argued a bit, especially after he called the French clinic where Anna is, posing as Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
But at some point, they made up, and into their conversation eventually came the words “I’m scared” from Carly’s lips-and from Valentin’s, “Me too!”
Nina Could Help-And Perhaps, Josslyn Did Too
Carly wasn’t wild about it when Valentin told her that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could help, when discussing their takedown plans of Jack-but perhaps Josslyn helped too.
Josslyn wouldn’t be talking to Valentin and keeping his location a secret from Jack if she didn’t trust Valentin in some measure, however small.
As it turned out, Nina may not have to help Carly and Valentin since Jack went to talk to her on his own. He promised the traffic cam tape that could have convicted Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) would never see the light of day.
As for Josslyn, perhaps her part of the plan was merely to get Jack over to her mother’s house for the setup, to get Jack off his game with a major distraction!
How Could Josslyn Throw Her Mother Under The Bus? Maybe She Didn’t!
How could Josslyn throw her mother under the bus like that, is what many GH fans are asking; well, maybe she didn’t!
Maybe it was just all part of the plan, to lure Jack into a trap-a trap to get him so distracted that he gets caught making mistakes by his superiors.
Jack may be the king of rogue agents himself, having been involved in everything from Pikeman-where he threw Valentin under the bus, to sending drone strikes to areas without permission.
He’s done that three times-first, the Haunted Star, taking out Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and preventing him and his associates from resurrecting the weather machine.
Second, the Somalian camp where Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was, and third, The Five Poppies-if Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) finds out, Jack’s in some serious trouble!
