General Hospital Spoilers: Jude’s Mother Mystery Deepens – Jerry’s Secret Past Holds the Answer?

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question: If Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) is Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) son, then who’s his mother?

Jude Obviously Knew Who His Grandparents Were

It’s never been mentioned that Jerry ever had any children, but Jude obviously knew who his grandparents were. Remember his reaction to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) suggesting they call each other John and Jane?

Jane Jacks (Barbara Tarbuck) would have been Jude’s grandmother, whereas John Jacks (Peter Renaday) would have been his grandfather. In fact, Jude’s strange reaction to the names John and Jane had already sparked speculation about his true identity.

Jude listed his family members to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) when he came looking for his daughter.

Jude acts like he was raised by Jerry and whoever his mother is or was, but who could she be? There were very few women who Jerry dated during his time in Port Charles, and chances are, Jude’s mother was not one of them!

Bobbie Spencer? Most Likely Not!

With Jude’s apparent age, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) could have been in the time range to have been Jude’s mother, but unless there’s a drastic rewrite, most likely she’s not.

Bobbie had a hysterectomy, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was her only natural child. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) was adopted, and she was BJ Jones’ (Brighton Hertford) stepmother.

There was also a woman he dated named Irina (Olga Vilner) about that time, but for her to be Jude’s mother would be impossible. Jerry killed her!

There’s enough confusion in Port Charles family trees the way it is. For Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) cousin to also be her maternal uncle would just be weird!

So, if it were someone in Port Charles, who could his mother be?

Jerry Mainly Had Flirtations And One-Night Stands In Port Charles

It seems doubtful that anyone Jerry dated in Port Charles could be Jude’s mother, since he mainly had one-night stands and flirtations, so more than likely she’s someone he was involved with in Australia.

That tracks with Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) and Ethan Lovett (most recently Christian Howard) both being from Australia and apparently knowing Jude very well. Plus, we know Ethan would have known Jerry.

Ethan falsified the paternity results to make himself appear to be Phoebe Chase’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) birth father, making her adoption illegal. It was probably Jerry’s DNA Ethan took from the PCPD evidence file to accomplish this.

Meanwhile, Jude’s claim on Phoebe could trigger a custody battle that threatens Brook Lynn and Chase’s family.

Wild Theory – Could Alexis Davis Be Jude’s Mother?

There is one wild theory, very doubtful, but considering her face when Jude was in her office and he told her Jerry was his father, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was one of Jerry’s lovers!

He said he needed her help desperately but hadn’t told her it was concerning Phoebe’s adoption, which she handled, being illegal because Ethan had falsified the paternity results.

As seen in the October 29 General Hospital recap, Alexis was visibly shaken when Jude revealed that Jerry was his father.

So is there a possibility she had a baby boy she gave away and never told anyone?

This would have been a totally different situation than when she was in college and gave baby Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) away.
