Bruening Shared His Visit To The GH Set On Instagram

Bruening shared his Port Charles visit on Instagram with an adorable collection of couple photos that sparked fan speculation about a potential Justin appearance on the show!

Through his social media posts, the opening image carried the caption, “I’m lost…Can someone point me in the direction of a good hospital?”

His next post featured a picture alongside his wife, where he wrote, “Oh! Here’s someone! Lulu, you say?”

He then joked about how familiar she looked and playfully referenced their life together, including four children, a suburban home, and plenty of pets.

Of course, Havins has been busy with Lulu’s storyline, particularly as Willow’s legal battle against Lulu continues to create drama in Port Charles.

Bruening Also Posed Beside Michael E. Knight’s Photo In The Studio

Bruening also posted a photo of himself standing before an image of his former on-screen sibling, Michael E. Knight (ex-Tad Martin, AMC), who currently portrays Martin Grey on General Hospital.

Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri), the on-screen son of Alexa Havins, responded in the comments with enthusiasm, saying, “This is amazing!”

Alongside numerous fans expressing hope that Justin might soon become part of the GH ensemble, one viewer inquired, “Does this mean you’re coming on GH or just visiting your beautiful wife?”

Another fan wondered whether a cameo might be possible and praised Alexa’s work on the show.

A third fan offered a casting suggestion: “Make Justin Bruening a Dillon Quartermaine (most recently Robert Palmer Watkins) recast!”

For now, Bruening’s visit appears to be just that—a visit. There has been no casting announcement confirming that he’s joining the ABC soap.

Several GH Stars Played Characters On AMC

Alexa Havins Bruening brought the character Babe Carey to life from 2003 to 2007 on the cherished ABC soap opera, whereas Bruening portrayed Jamie Martin intermittently between 2003 and 2011, continuing until ABC ultimately canceled the series.

There are several actors currently on General Hospital who were also on All My Children at one time or another, aside from Michael E. Knight, who plays Martin Grey.

Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain) played Ryan Lavery, a distant relative of GH’s late Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan).

Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) got his soapy start playing Nico Kelly, while James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) played Will Cortlandt.

Finola Hughes did double duty as both Anna Devane and Alexandra Devane Marick on AMC, too.

With so many familiar faces making the transition between ABC soaps over the years, it’s understandable that fans are curious about whether Bruening might someday follow suit.

Meanwhile, Lulu’s ongoing legal battle with Willow continues to give Havins plenty of drama to work with on screen.

Annemarie’s Take

I loved seeing Justin having fun on the GH set with Alexa! They make such a cute couple, and I can understand why fans immediately started wondering if he might be joining the show.

But considering his wife works there, a visit doesn’t necessarily mean anything more. Still, wouldn’t it be fun to see these two working together again? I wouldn’t rule out a cameo someday!
