The last we saw of Kelly Thiebaud, who plays Obrecht and Faison’s daughter and Brad’s BFF Britt Westbourne, was in 2017. Producers reached out to Kelly at the beginning of this year, asking if she was interested in returning to the soap.
General Hospital News – Britt Westbourne is back in Port Charles
Soap Opera Digest quotes Kelly Thiebaud as saying executive producer Frank Valentini had reached out to her at the beginning of this year. He said the writers on General Hospital wanted to bring her back for a while.
Kelly told him she would “love nothing more than that,” saying her fans on General Hospital are a “huge reason” why she is always happy to go back to Port Charles. She noted that even if she appears for just a couple of episodes, fans always seem to be happy her character, Britt, is back. Thiebaud says that fact makes it all the more exciting for fun for her.

William deVry posted on Twitter with an image of Kelly as Britt, in a passionate embrace with his character, Julian Jerome. He wrote, “Anyone? @kellythiebaud and him. Sheets gonna fly?” Sounds like some romance and passion are on the cards.
Fans got a real surprise when they saw the tweet. Julian hasn’t had anyone in his life since Kim Nero left town. Now his love life is set to really heat up.
Fans are now wondering why exactly Britt is coming back. It could be that she has got wind of the fact her mother, Liesl Obrecht, is behind bars for murder and attempted murder. Britt has likely found out that Brad Cooper is also in jail.
